I hate feminists
I don't mind feminists, they're just confused about their place :P
Seriously, I just hate feminists that make stupid comments like these and clearly don't know their tits from their brain.
I dunno if anyone's ever seen that episode of the simpsons where there's a Duff beer commercial with all these women on the street holding up signs chanting "Down With Sexism! Down With Sexism" and then the cmaera pans over to a few guys leaning against a parked duff beer truck. They take out few bottles and just spray the women all over with beer. The music gets all raunchy and the feminists magically morph into hot bikini wearing babes... It's absolutely hilarious
doesnt' have much to do with this thread, but thought I'd just share that thought...
I hope this is a joke but something tells me it isnt. There really are nutbars like this that exist.
I wonder what the person who wrote that article thinks of prodigy's smack my bitch up?

that article is funny. most genra's of music are demeaning to women lets face it tits sell , but you have to look outside the box its about the music and if artists feel that they have to sell there music with sex or demaning images then their stupid , but only limiting it to dance music is ridiculous thats why this article which is obviously a joke is so funny.
People will find anything to bitch about these days.
"Hey, I hear bus shelters are sexist"....
Sexist? C'mon......
Just an example of some women who love starting shit.
It DEFINITELY does not demean women. If anything, trance and house
bring women/men together with happiness and positive feelings.
How can they call dance music sexist when hiphop music has titles like "ho bitch get out of the way" "a lady in the street but a freak in the bed" etc... and pretty much ALL videos have women in bikinis flaunting themselves in front of the camera for 5 minutes. this group doesnt know what theyre talking about, IMO.

| Originally posted by bARTovsky I really don't think a few sexually inclined (even deviant) lyrics can make an entire genre of music sexist. If that is the case then before even considering dance music they should maybe take a look at today's Hip Hop ![]() edit: actually hip hop is more objectifying than anything, but I still think it beats dance music hollow in the sexist category. |
