LOL PVD_S11DJ...BRO U KEEP MAKIN ME LAUGH...LOL....EXIT SUKS ...

Posted by PVD_S11DJ on Nov-29-2001 20:14:

does Exit at least have good sound and light/laser systems? And whats the deal with the dresscode? Is it like chinos/collared shirts and stuff? I just hope I get to hear Castles in the Sky and Sandstorm!!!

Posted by tiesto14 on Nov-29-2001 20:22:

The system is OK..not the best but not nad at all...they are REAL stricy with their dress code...i wouldnt say chinos and shit..but more like juice heads with their little sisters black t-shirts...u know the type...at places like that i jus bring to outfits...i wear what i really wanna wear firdt to the door (sneakers, jeans etc..) and if they dont lemme in i go to the car and put on a dressy outfit...so i am always prepared...lol...
plus i have an appartment in Manhatten so i am straight no matter what.......

p.s. if they play castles in the sky i will be sooo sooo happy especially if they spin Toca's Miracle in the background...LOL....kidding

im 16 but ill get a fake id that day. do you think exit will let me in
? me and my friend look older then 16 though..are they strict with the id's? and what should i wear? i guess clubbing stuff?

thanks

Posted by nyczliquid on Nov-29-2001 22:52:

sot...it depends on the type of id...and also if it looks too fake...theyll be an ass about it....best way is to use someones permit or driver's license that looks like u.....
i HOPE they dont have a dress code...exit ALWAYS say they do..but usually i take a risk anyway and wear my usual cargos with sneakers...

Posted by Shamez214 on Nov-29-2001 23:26:

well, last friday at exit, they were letting 20 people in at a time without checkin anyones ID. also, since the reopening, thy have been ALOT less stric with the dresscode. my friends get in with nice jeans and sneakers. i see a lot of asian people with ufo pants and shit. so im sure you could get in as long as you look decent and are not a dick to the bouncers

Posted by Phazon on Nov-29-2001 23:49:

The two biggest assholes that check id's are the ones on the guestlist line. Watch out for these 2 short skinny guys. They are so unfair and just dont give a fuck. If you're looking to get into Exit without having a hard time, then stay on the regular line. That means you will probably have to pay $5 more. And remember, if you dont get into the club for some reason such as the way you are dressed, you can always swing around onto the other line. Exit lines dont usually took very long.

Posted by nyczliquid on Nov-30-2001 00:02:

phazon are u sure? cuz usually the nice guy is on da guest list side..haha i dunno? cuz on the grand opening..i saw a whole buncha kids that didnt get in cuz of the way they were dressed..and i came in my sneakers and cargos....and the bouncer on da guestlist line said...next time dont wear those...and he let me in..and seemed nice...n its always the guy on the guestlist side...i guess theres new ones...?

oh yeh...if u buy tickets in advance..do u have to get on line?

Posted by Phazon on Nov-30-2001 00:09:

Bro dont mistake these guys for bouncers cause they arent. They look like they're cops and i tell you, there are a few cops working for Exit. They're just dressed in regular street clothes. One time i gave him my id and he was checking it out for a good 30 seconds. I knew if i said something to him he would kick me off the line because thats what type of dicks they are. Their goal is to find something wrong with your id or choice of clothing and get you to go in the back of the line so you can slip them an extra $20 when you get to them again. Bouncers on the other hand are really cool but dont get on their bad side, they've got some bad ass juice heads there.

Dude, It's on!

I get to see Tiesto twice in a month period. WTF!? I'm pumped! I hate the Gino crap, but I'll get over it as long I get to see Tiesto. He destroyed me at Glow in DC this past weekend. (I was the Asian guy sitting down near the hallway by the bathroom). I was exhuasted after the entire day of dancing.

I've heard enough about Exit to not expect too much. Gino's are everywhere, even in Philly.

I'll be at JJ too.

Hope to met up with everyone this time.

Payce

Question Parking

Is hard to find parking around exit? is it gonna cost mad loot to park? because i dont know that area at all =) thanks peace and respects.

Posted by Phazon on Nov-30-2001 22:48:

Dude, dont waste your money parking in a garage. Just look closely trhough the inside blocks and oneway streets and you'll find something. We always do that.

Posted by Freeza on Nov-30-2001 22:57:

cool, thanks man. wish me luck =)

Posted by twilochik on Dec-01-2001 23:31:

parking on the streets has been great recently..esp after 10 pm...I went to World in Oct...right in the heart of manhattan I parked like a block away from world...no prb at all...and thats right in times square! I believe exit is up on 52nd...so that'll make it even easier! dont stress it.

Going back to an older question someone else posted....if you buy tickets in advance, do you have to stand in line?

Posted by Phazon on Dec-02-2001 23:35:

I read that they're selling tickets at Ticketmaster and you probably wont have to stand on line with those tickets but if you got tickets from a promoter then you mosty likely are gonna have to wait online. Exit lines never last long either. The longest i ever had to wait was probably 15 minutes.

Posted by Taub on Dec-03-2001 01:44:

buy tickets or wait on line???

Posted by tiesto14 on Dec-03-2001 05:59:

Well i havent been to Exit in a long time...and we all now why.....but i am not sure about this but i think if u buy tickets and have them in ADVANCED then u wont get turned down at the door....\

And if u stand online WITHOUT tickets then u have a chance of getting turned down...since i know Exit USED TO BE strict...not sure if they still are...

so i am buying mine in advanced so i dont have to worry , and if they still do turn me down , which i doubt, i will DEMAND a refund..LOL.......

NOTHING IS BETTER then pissing of an Exit bouncer...they are alway pricks and think the are hot shit....worst bouncers in the city in my opinion.....so play it safe and get ya tickets now

Posted by toxa on Dec-03-2001 17:49:

Well I just bought my tickets on ticketmaster for tiesto and I suggest to anyone going to do the same. You will not have to wait inline if you have tickets!!!!
But I have a question...it says the event starts at 10...so what time would tiesto play from and till...if anyone knows??

Posted by nyczliquid on Dec-03-2001 19:32:

hey..how does ticketmaster work? i never bought tix through them before...when u buy them on phone or whatever...do u go pick them up? or...do they send u it?

Posted by tiesto14 on Dec-03-2001 20:10:

To nyczliquid - u can have them send the tickets to you or u can pick them up at a ticket master box office....Personally i dont call ticketmaster and get the tickets from them i go to a place like the Wiz or Tower Records or even directly to a ticketmaster box office and pick them up directley...this is because 1 time i called ticketmaster for an event and the person i was talken to on the phone was so incompetent adn kept messing up my address info...so i think they have morons working their phones..but thats just me...go in person if u ask me....

Posted by nyczliquid on Dec-03-2001 20:13:

thanks for helping out...

Posted by toxa on Dec-03-2001 20:27:

What time do u think tiesto is going to be on and till what time?
