"cool" and "math" do not belong in the same sentence.

The breeze was making me cool, so I set my math book on fire.

"Math is cool."

Sounds like some people don't like math because they have problems with it. If anybody has a problem, just post it. Whenever I used to get stuck on a problem, I used to think of the problem as a puzzel rather than a math equation. Took out any kind of math anxiety I had. Works well in Calculus.

good to know basic math so you know how to figure out discounts when shopping, or figuring out how long it will take you to get to another city by driving a certain speed.

alot of math is pretty useless and i still can't beleive they make you do stupid math/calc courses in high school.

on a side note, math skills are also an indicator of iq.

Now, do the right column. 2x4=8. Now, cross multiply 4x1, and 2x2, and add the sum together. which is 8. Now multiply The left column, 2x1. Which is 2. The answer is 288. Pretty cool huh?

How is that fast? Just multiply 24 by 10, 24 by 2, then add. A lot simpler than whatever ass backward method you're using.

Take any number. Multiply it by itself than divide it by the orginal number you choose.

The result should be the orginal number you choose!!!

For example:

I chose the 4.

4 X 4 = 16

16/4 = 4

Amazing !!!

2+2=4

Posted by Michael19 on Apr-12-2005 19:55:

111,111,111 x 111,111,111 = 12,345,678,987,654,321
