You think that maybe he mentioned it to point out the Armin who is arguably the foremost trance DJ would go see Lawler, a House DJ to point out the fact that Armin is actively open to other kinds of music? Hmmm...

no he did not...he started it as I got to see Armin after all and then DA told him to change the name to (not a review) which he had first made it to be as if he saw Armin...read it for yourself...he was all torn if to go to Armin or Lawler and choose Lawler coincidentally I guess Armin showed up...I would have understood it if it was saying that Armin came to Lawler but what is the point of making a thread about it. that is ALL...

I've seen many peeps start out as hardcore TRANCE ADDICTS & then they get brainwashed & forget it ever existed. Then they come out bashing it. Its like it got comepletely wiped out of there taste buds.

i never have bashed it.......i wwent to lawler to review it for a good friend who was the head promoter.... of the event. plus the fact i like lawler. though after this party not as much. lawler has changed from the dark tribal he used to play to more progressive

im tired of saying till im blue in the face my feelings on trance. hearing asot 188 as i speak as i type this actually...... but course u wont believe that. one day ill have to have manny over or someone close by my house every cd i have has something with armin on it practically...... (not lately though as harder to find ASOT torrents ..... grrrrrr)

anyways....... seeing as im despised so much on this board ill post less.... am still goin to ta bbq.... in a few weeks . luis is a good guy known him for a long time def come out and support his party and the djs playing..

groove eric , relik, and lately doug(with his sick ass sets) have really impressed me. def glad that eric's party goin strong. trance is a necessity . too much of one type of music... any type... at least to me is too much.... whether house, breaks, trance, techno. hip hop...... but to each their own

i have nothing against you or your taste in music. You have to admit you have drawn your attention & time towards house more than to what you originally came on to the boards. You & a few others from CP, when you guys/gals came aboard were TRANCEHEADS til the end. Then the end came & wht happened?? You guys/gals bailed on us. You know its funny though i have noticed some peeps on this board who post claim they are TA's (not meaning u)but all you see them do is post is on house music threads. I mean is this not a TRANCE ADDICT forum???

I posted on CP calling out all the trance bashers & bandwagon jumpers & what happened only a few whom i will not name just to avoid any problems posted their thoughts & opinions. Not to stir things up either but i didn't see you give your thougts on that subject either. I personally can care less what anybody listens to, just remember people have eyes & ears & know what goes on at events especially if u r in the scene.


All i have to say & i say again.
KEEP IT REAL. If u enjoy a type of music that others don't prefer, thats fine. BUT at least don't make urself look like something ur not, cuz in the end YOU will be the one thats gonna looke like a hypocrite.

at first i was a die hard tranceaddict. it was the only form of edm i enjoyed. the form of house music played in florida really never got my attention... the harder tribal/prog variety was good but no way near trance.

then my friend phil introduced me to "west coast house" the jazzy riffs and use of live instruments and soulful sounds were a sound not heard in miami clubs and i got hooked. i enjoy it as much as trance this form of house. does that make me a tranceaddict(which i believe to be only liking trance) then i am not a tranceaddict by defintion..

but without a doubt this is the best board to discuss trance and learn about the genre. and for that reason i will continue to post here. trance is rarely spoken about on cj and cp this board is where one will find invigorating and reliable info in the trance scene.

i never bashed trance ever.. never said house was better. im just saying i enjoy both.

and yes armin is still my fav dj....... the combination of his style of trance and teh energy he brings when he spins live is why hes my fav.

my not seeig armin this yr is no indication of my dislike of his music any more. i regret not going now considering lawler's set. but u never know......last yr i was disappointed by armada nite armin spun a great 90 min set.. (too short) so i decided to go to a party with a 5 hr set that was confirmed to be 5 hrs.......

nothing more nothing less.


met a lot of great people on here. raul, mel, manny, luis... amber def would enjoy keeping touch.......

Either way, on CP/TA stick to what u love and what makes u dance your asses off, dont put up a front and think you like something that you dont, just so u can say u were there and u are a big partier or so called "club legend", give me a break, BE YOURSELF, Trance for me is 98% and house and prog is 2%, TA for life bitches

yeah damon this is all a front. then why is it before i joined any of the boards and partied at least a yr unknown by u all i was goin to opium garden to see oakenfold whenever he came down.... and pvd at the old space? i went alone and sometimes with my friend karel that got me into edm because i hated it?
