i cant help but wonder whether ppl who jus posted "magik 6", without elaborating have listened to tranceport. while its old, its still a masterpiece! magik 6 is the best one of the magik series, but tranceport i think is the CD that started it all. a whole bunch of hits mixed together i hear ppl say? might be so, but there're definitely not all anthems. lotta fillers as well as killers. the cd is a true story from beginning to end, with its flow staying so true to its theme. no mix of just anthems could possibly achieve that. oakie's mixing in this baby is virtually seamless too, something in which tiesto has trouble doing, but then again magik 6 is live, so really you can't compare, but then again, if you've heard ISOS 2 and 3, *gack* anyhow, before i begin digressing, complaining bout tiesto's mixing, though he gets thumbs up for creativity, i'll leave it there n say traceport gets my vote!

Posts like this should be ignored. I mean, really, if you don't like anything Oakey has ever done.. you have no taste!

I find it hard to compare a live set to a studio set, but I'd probably go with Magik 6.

Both are great examples of each DJ's taste and talents, and lately I'm more into Tiesto's sound. Tranceport is something you have to have in your collection. Magik 6 is something you have to play frequently.

Classic songs...1998, Purple, Gamemaster, Greece 2000, El Nino, Someone, Cafe del Mar, Words.
These are some of the songs that got me totally into trance.

I own both of them...
