Ferry was killer.
What an amazing set!!! This guy was just as good as I expected!! The Guv was just too much..even for me to handle though for the longest time. I was getting hit from every direction...with no room to dance..and I was getting too hot. Stayed till the very end.....and I was happy I was able to giver close to end of the night (makes up for the time I was being pushed around and hit.) Stayed till the very end.
That's all I have the energy to say for now. This party has kicked me in the ass.

All I can say is Ferry Corsten is the man. I wish I could have stayed longer - especially since he dropped Out of the Blue... Oh well, perhaps next time.
Good to see you TAs again - not happy to hear what happened to j_spot... That's just not cool and so cowardly.

So no one knows that track Oliver plays? I've been looking for it for a while and it's killer. I wish I could provide a sample or something but I havn't heard anyone else play it, he played it both times I was at the Guv though.

happy bday Peter, didn't know it was your bday
Hey this was a good night. Met up with some ultra oldskool ppl from across the Atlantic (Coup and Jamie), got my butt grabbed by a polish girl in The Drink, learned how not to pick up women by a drunken Nrg (LOLLLL "this is my BF!!" - you are hilarious man!), listened to solid sets from Luke Chable, Dave Seaman (good stuff - dont think its my style all the way but I enjoyed it none the less), Gray Area (interesting live PA), Josh Gabriel (im addicted to G&D tunes and he layed down just what I wanted to hear), and Ferry Corsten through the last 2.5 hours till Guv closed.
There were also like half a dozen new faces whom I metup with in line and in the complex. Lots of faces I havent seen in awhile (probably due to exams and me not going out much. lol)
BTW - I thought the decor/lighting for KH was pretty damn good.
and who was on it? don't leave a brother hanging
hey emery, is that a bowl of rice in your avator? just noticed that now...hehe

io dunno who this is or if hes a ta. but dude ur my fuckin heroe
Got into the club at around 1130 or so and immediately saw all kinds of ta's.
It was great to have such a huge crew out, nice to meet so many of you who i hadn't before.
Saw almost all of Chable and the beginning of Seamen, I thought Chable was pretty sweet, he got my feet movin!
Then went into the guv for ferry where I toughed it out despite hardly being able to breath because it was so hot in there.
Ferry was truely awesome...
started out with some tracks i wasn't as familiar with but built towards a wicked finale!
I can't think of one song I wanted him to play last night that he didn't play, and his two encores were the perfect cap for the night.
Funnest part of the evening was dancing with Chanoa to Rachel Star-'till there was you(G and D 12 step remix) not once, not twice, but three times. Yes that song was played three times last night.
All in all a great night!
Great partying with you Jem_Hadar, MissK, PreppieChick, RabbitJoker, Pettiscool, Ubertrancer.
amazing night
the thing that made my night was ferry playing right of way... wow!!.. after that song i walked into kool haus and josh gabriel was playing "as the rush comes" which absolutely made my f'n night!.. he was AMAZING!... also im not much of a house head but Brad Copeland, ripped the place up!

| Originally posted by karim So I really really really needed to study but I opted to go. Sober night, with the plan to leave at 4, which is exactly what we did. Me and my partners in crime (Ryan aka. mindspin, Nema, John, Sheena, Mike, Palmer) got to the club just as Luke Chable was coming on and wow he was throwing it down. His style was a very uplifting progressive house with heavenly vocals and beautiful synth lines. Then came on Dave Seaman. I've seen Dave spin a few times before and he's hit or miss. Last night, definately a hit. Anyone who believes they can ID a track, I've got a short video clip that needs the track ID'ed for me. SO good. Yah, me and my friends checked out Harry for a bit. Not long at all though. The Drink was exceptionally crowded when we got there around 1:30 to hear the start of his set. It was warm in some places, kinda cool in others, but the smoke machine was TOO much. The beats were good but we didn't have room to dance so we opted to get back into the Kool Haus for some Dave Seaman. We got back to Seaman only to see the Tranceaddict corner diminishing. Still grooved for a while before me and my buds headed into the Guv to meet up with our 4 other friends for the opening of Ferry's set. The guv was packed, it smelled god aweful (only notice it when you're sober) and after one excellant track, the rest of ferry's opening wasn't enough to keep me in the Guv. Now, back to the Kool Haus to hear who I wanted to hear....GRAYAREA They came on with a bang and one of the sweetest breakbeats I've ever heard. I love the breaks and these just resonated through me and they pumped new energy into my system. Grayarea are not only talented but fun to watch live too. Despite all these positives, there was one negative that put down the ENTIRE set of theirs.....sound. From my understanding, they didn't arrive at the club in time to do a sound check, and while seaman was playing, they still hadn't arrived in Toronto. They made their 3 o'clock set time in the nick of time. The lack of soundcheck dissapointed me greatly as I was on the dancefloor feeling my hearing diminishing. BRUTAL. The vocals were too high they sounded like squeeks and the bass was so distorted. I've waited so long to hear them live and it got to the point that I couldn't bare the damage to my ears. Had to leave. So we burned a doob and left the club. My buddy Nema was dead tired and he was driving so we couldn't say no. We walked out of the club with a smile from ear to ear on every one of us saying "wow, what an unexpectedly awesome night, this sober thing is great". Wicked running into and seeing alot of TA's. Jamie (Jem_Hadar): man you were fucked. Half the time you'd move in to talk to me you'd headbutt the side of my face. LOL. Andrea (chanoa): So hot, so fluid, you exemplify everything that is eye candy. You're such a sweety too. Alex (ub3rtrancer): wow man, you're a solid dancer, good seeing you too Lars (Peppie Chick): Always a pleasure, loved the hat. Eric (VividBoy) and Marco (Rodrico): Good times chillin with you guys in line. When we parked, I saw a new civic drive by and recognized eric, wasn't certain though till 5 minutes later when you join us in line. RJ (rabbitjoker): Thanks for the shaving tips. Aaron (DJ Celica): thanks for the pics man, solid! Liam (DJ EL KAY DEE): Thanks for kicking me in the leg fu.cker LOL, the best part is, you got me 4 times and I kept looking right over you trying to find out who's kicking me. You short SOB (no offense to short people, I love you all) All the other TA's: [NFC]Wave (Scan and post the autograph card), DJ Kandaio, DancingQueen, Cuzo, dance2dabeat, drgoodvibe (Can't wait to see your pics), E2EKIAL, Shaya (hope the person in the ambulance was alright), fayraree (Excellant vibe dude, and believe me, that picture thread made me more familiar with faces than I ever though possible), Highroller, Shanny, StereoPrincess, SurrJRS, fn_xtc, Tordan, Cale, nadezhda, Spankmeister, music_snob_not, Gamma, I hope I didn't miss anybody. Blue. - I saw you from a distance but didn't know for certain, I shoulda said hi. I think you were leaving around the same time as me. photon_trance (senko): I'm pretty sure I saw you in the kool haus smoking pit but once again, didn't say hi, my bad. Note about the LKD fiasco: LKD's can actually be a really nice guy, he was nice enough to invite me to dinner with Zabiela, and from a post above, he was nice enough to buy Rodrico a drink. I think instead of a handshake, he's got a destructive side to him when intoxicated, but he's just horsing around. Sometimes that can be a lot to tolerate, but you gotta look beneath the surface of it. ![]() Karim |

Got into kool Haus around 12:30...meet up with a bunch of TA's on the sidelines. Luke Chable was on , i believe, and man he played a BANGING version of "Swing 2 Harmony", WOW what a great way to start the night!!! Went over to guv around 2am to see the rest of Mark, who played "Meet her at the Love Parade",and "Till there Was You", Yeah Yeah!! Then Ferry came on and I almost lost my mind it was just waayy too hot and packed for my liking, so went back over to the Kool Haus and chilled there till about 3 when i attempted again to go and see ferry, but i just couldnt do it, really why do they try and cram everyone in there when the Kool Hause wasn't even half full?? I know he (Ferry) LOVES the GUv, but really! ANywho, went up to the drink for a bit then back to KH for Josh...awesome set had a blast...then to guv from 5-8:30 for the rest of Ferry!! Oh and Yes what was that track he played near the end , full of vocals???? i'm trying to find it as well. Good times as usual, great partying with you all.
Till next time, keep smiling
Danielle
*Edit: PS I'm fackin deaf today thanks to the sound crew in the KH, you need to get that sound under control for the next party!
