Sly thanks for all your advice...REALLY helpful!!! Will def try out soulseek (and if not 100% good then will try mixingbowl). Totally agree on Kazaalite...completely sucks for EDM, although some of the mainstream stuff has been available.

Thanks Sly_Guy! Steve told me about Bit Tornado...that's what I used to get the Ferry set. I don't know much about bit torrents though. Thanks for the info.
I'll give themixingbowl a look too! Does it have old essential mixes, or new ones? or both? And are they kept on the forums forever or do they expire like after a month or something?

They have both old and new. It's just much harder to find old stuff so it's something very notable about the website. Essentially the torrents go dead when people stop sharing them, which is why it's important not to hit and run.

Just in case you miss my thank you on the Tiesto thread, Sly, I just got Tiesto at Disneyland and I don't think I'll be sleeping anytime soon...another all nighter dedicated to TRANCE...

Is it just me or did this sound like an exceptionally better set than what we got in Toronto?

maybe he was less tired? maybe because he's closer to the crowd, more interaction, more motivation from his part...

Good point. I would luv to see Ferry in KH...that's what made AVB so enjoyable, being that much closer...but at the end of US7 when Ferry kept playing encores and was smiling at us and making his *heart* symbol with his hands and giving us all that attention...it made the whole night worth it!!!

Still doesn't make up for the fact that his Aria Set was better.

What makes you think it was better? I need to get a copy of the Toronto set...

It was better bc I was at the Toronto set and have now heard both and can compare.

Montreal's was better. But we'll get back at them

I would really like to hear this - i'm up to 95% and there are several other people who are up to 95% - could anyone please get on and seed this because once it reaches 100% we can keep it alive by seeding it ourselves..

if someone could seed or host this it would be really appreciated

Maybe on a whole that set was better, but Ferry played Gouryella- Tenshi for his first encore, and System F- Out of the Blue for his second.

That is the best finish I have ever heard, and one of my best partying moments ever.
I'll trade the montreal set for that finish any day!
