As for smaller venues, I don't like feeling like a sardine in a can. So think whatever you like, I've been partying for over 6 years now. I know what I like and what I don't. I don't think I should be judged for that. So if going to certain venues in Philadelphia to be among friends makes me seem inexperience and jaded then so be it. At least I'm enjoying myself.

if you love the music that much, then why have you hardly been to fluid?? EC is ran by neaderthals who hire those DJs based on heresay...on a regular night in philly, bigger clubs = worse music and smeller clubs = better music...but youve been clubbing in philly for 6 years now; you would have known that already...and for someone who claims to love the music, you should konw good music makes all the difference...

in the great words of the shawshank redemption: im glad youve gone this far...now if you want to, maybe you can go a little farther..

I'm already over it.

I do know that good music makes a better time. I totally agree with you there, but sometimes the company you are with can make it even better. I really don't concern myself with how the promotors in philly book different DJ's and where they book them. Im just thrilled that they are here. And I don't go to fluid on wednesdays because I have to be in work by 7:00am thursday.

well shit dude, life is all about making compromises...gotta say "fuck work on thursday" one of these days, right? and dont bullshit me with "but it's important that i work because i need to maintain my lifestyle and hopefully attain a better one in the future!" fuck that!! you've done it before...do it again...you only live once...

if im speaking in tongues to you right now and you have no ambition to grow musically and it shows, then you'll be hearing from me soon...

You need to chill out

you're not a Mod so get a grip, loser. this is a public board and if assholes like you are allowed to post then everyone else is allowed to also. you of all people should be grateful for this. who cares what dj's you like and who are you to say wether a dj is shitty or not? it's called an opinion and they're like assholes....we all have one. deal with it.

Okay I sat back and didn't say anything but seriously.....you need to get a grip. Highmay is a great GREAT guy and knows his shit, so if he wants to BS with someone and give them a hard time in jest or not he can. So take your own advice and DEAL WITH IT and leave it alone.

Why can't we all just get along

i never post here but what the hell, i see you're in need of some support
i love emerald city, go there for all the big awesome events, and love one14, but i rarely ever go to fluid
besides, they mainly have dnb there!
the nice lil' clubs in philly like one14 rarely get super-packed, plus they're pretty chill, so i don't see a problem

there is a difference between cutting someone down who's new to the boards and jesting. unless you know someone you have no right to "jest" with them. unless you know someone your "jests" come off as insults and degradations.

You are wrong sir. Tiesto did spin there.

Posted by jkada1 on Apr-26-2005 19:44:

Scumfrog, Nu NRG, George Acosta, plus many more. Tiesto spun at Transit and Pure. Anyways, Emerald city when it first opened was really good, it isn't as good as it was though. But thats just my opinion. They just haven't brought in any DJs lately that i know of.
