It was on the news a few years ago that they discovered some Englsih chef in the Middle Ages had actually made a Lasagne, so Lasagne is British!

Actually, I have a bit of a confession to make...

My favourite food in the whole wide world is Jambalaya (love Cajun food!) and that's American

Best food in the West, yeah probably. The world? Now that's really debatable. Pakistani/Inidian food is freakin awesome, along with chinese food. Western food is pretty bland compared to them.

See above!

I also once had a burger, which are German, but I had it with American mustard!

Italian pizza is thin crust, how can you say Italian pizzas are the best?!

Pizzas should have thick crusts! Italians?! What do they know?!

That's crap. Tomatoes were not available in Europe at that time.

Did I say so? Although with George having so politely pointed out bacon to me, I'll venture to claim that this ace make Danish food superior to all the four foods except maybe the French.

Agree totally. In addition to the pasta and pizza, there's the ciabatta (and its bread cousins of all sorts of names), the wine, the fish, and the olive oil which is everywhere in Italian food.
Italy is overall and without a doubt the best place for lovers of food, women, and sunny beaches.

mexican food is a lot better than italian u name it its better

What the fuck are you guys on about? I did a tour of several Italian cities last year (Milan, Florence, Sienna, Pisa) and ate as much pizza as I could, and never once did I get a pizza with no tomato sauce. And only once did I get a pizza with totally thin crust.

Hey dont shoot the messenger!!

Posted by trancaholic on May-19-2005 03:17:

Oh yeah. On topic:

First of all, I think that the Netherlands and the UK are going to be most harder to sway to a "yes" than France, so save your worries till we get to those two. Secondly, in the case of a "no" from some member state, I *hope* that the EU will do what it did when Denmark voted "no" and continue regardless. That is, initiate the constitution in the countries that ratify it and allow for the non-ratifying members to join later on. As some (non-Danish) diplomat stated it so poetically when Denmark was stomping the brakes: "There will always be a door open to Denmark".

I'm not shooting at you - just telling you that the info you got is crap. I would've replied in the same manner if you stated that you'd been told that Dubya is a nice guy once you get to know him.

French toast? I'm addicted to asian food. I'm a big fan of vietnameese food in particular (half there) so I like subtle flavoring in general.
