the best part about that weekend was on day 4 when i was home in bed in a coma from the xanax i popped, and then someone violently pounds on the door and i go to get it and it's our buddy mike (still going strong).

You have to hate that.... bastards that can't handle their high so they freak out and ruin everyone else's time. I had a buddy like that back in highschool. Every time we did acid he would freak out and I'd have to calm him down. Eventually I just got tired of it and let him deal with a bad trip alone.... He ran out of his own house and down the street screaming at the top of his lungs... he thought Falcore (the dog faced flying dragon thing from The Never Ending Story) was chasing him. I found him in a park a few blocks away the next day sleeping under some bleachers. He never did acid again.

a poem doesn't have to ryhme, but you can't ryhme all the lines but one...

Sure you can, poetry is nothing more then expressive prose... since the poet is the one doing the expression then they can chose any format they desire. Maybe Jamie intended one stanza not to rhyme in order to convey some message (alright, maybe I'm giving her too much credit here but it is possible).
