Here is my opionion.

I agree that on many levels ATL and FL are seperate places and I completly understand how annoying it must be to see five parties for sometimes minor DJ's get spammed in the same day and then bumped every couple of days after for a couple of months. Hopefully Scott's action (suggested by many) to merge all of those threads into one sticky will make a difference in that regard.

I would hate to see the SETA get split, I would have to change my homepage and everything. At this point in my TA existance I consider many of the FLTA's to be part of my TA family and I think it would be sad if we split off simply because a couple of people don't think its fun anymore

(and on a personal note this is not directed at you ambs, I know you just started a thread that gave voice to something that is already there. Also sorry for the snippy tone on my last post, I was feeling sarcastic )

im not a hater. i love that you guys are making it out to be that way. but i dont see why you have to hate on our idea to get flta our own section. it used to be that way once in a while. why cant it be that way again? im sick of the drama and i want to be able to enjoy posting again without worrying that some dumbass i've never met comes along and decides to write crap simply because he/she doesnt know me in real life. i'm just plain sick of it.

and since this has been going for a few months, i think we need a solution. im not saying seperate forums is the only way to go, but if not, then 2 mods. one from fl, one from atl. holland has 2 mods. i dont see why we couldn't as well...

to balance things out. and honestly... i think things will lighten up and become much more peaceful as a result.

i have no guilt issues cuz i am friends with a shit ton of FLTA's. So im straight. But you're talkin about the ATL TA's as a whole, which I am one.......and so I must reply. Just like if someone were to attack FLTA's as a whole, you would.

i understand your points javi. i think we either need to agree to disagree or you need to agree that there either needs to be some sort of balance so we can all feel happy (ex. 2 mods) or a solution so we can be happy. because right now the whole SETA section thing is not a happy posting experience.

i think that's more of a mental thing with the FLTA's than anything.

you DO know that the mod's would have to AGREE with each other?

it wouldn't be a FL mod handling FL issues or an ATL mod handling ATL issues..........it'd be the same thing. Just two of them doing it........and i guess it'd settle the mind of the FLTA's.

kinda odd tho, you guys had yer own thing. then all these other states invaded, mainly GA cuz we have the biggest scene. Then your mod went out, and an ATL TA was appointed. You guys feel we're taking over.......maybe there's some self esteem issues at work here. Not trying to start shit again lol, just noticing something.

having two mods is Just more CONTROL on what happens and people telling us we can't do shit.

nah, but from the start we wanted 2 mods but swamper wouldnt go for it. since things dont seem to be improving, i think it's the best and possibly the only way to get a positive flow going in seta.

im aware it wouldnt be fl mod for fl and atl for atl... of course not. but at least it wouldnt simply be one person having the final word. i personally think scott does a good job but i know many people are not fond of his mod-tactics.

im really not trying to start shit, just trying to find a way that i will actually WANT to post again rather than being annoyed when i post. and i know many other people have their own issues or ideas as well..

Hmmmmmmmmmm, what can I say about this, I dont know, I dont wanna get caught in the middle. whatever swamper can come up will be his decison, FLTA and ALT TA are different in a way, but I never forget what they and everyone else did for me a while back, we r all the same, differences might be with the music, partying or anything else, the fact of the matter is that majority of FLTA want to change and I see the ATL TA as well, so something has to be resolved before this matter continues to get worse and cooljunkie is laughing at us
