Hey guys i think this is a better idea. the other comp i think we were having probs with judges saying they would judge but never actually judging. this way if you don't judge you don't compete.
put me on the list of dj's and i can judge straight away.

But judges must keep in mind that some generes are easier to mix than others.

Yea i knew that one of the mixes was sphere's. In response to that rockabye guy who wanted comments on mixes as well... This is simply constructive criticism, to help everyone get better.
Sphere: Great mix, but there are a couple transitions that could use a little more to them, and some of the climaxes could use a little more as well.
Mr2gti: Good tracks, transitions need to be less noticeable, but besides that nicely done. oh and the beat matching was almost by the slightest amount off in one or two spots. Overall, sweet but just need to improve on the flow of the set.

One more question: Should I add a tracklist to my set if I am to upload it or not ? And am I allowed to state my dj name (for example: "Silent Raver bla bla.mp3" or "Silent Raver Tracklist.txt") ?
The idea is no-one knows who is taking on who.
Sphere will PM you a certain code to use as a file name. Also make sure there is NO ID3 tag in the mix.
I got those but you didn't answer my other question: should i add a tracklist to the set ?
Personal choice matey - I did.
Or add it after the result.

My name is Mark, aka DJ Mark V. I've been looking into this for the past 2 days or so, I hope i'm not too late! I'm on summer break right and got some time to mix it up! I'm a resident DJ @ Rise FM if any of you recognize me, am I still qualified?

i like the idea.... not so much the competition aspect, but def having your sound heard. but, it is good to receive constructive criticism.... put me down if possible...
