Thanks Gemini for the info, will be processed in the admin. I keep coming up with things to ad to the admin like birthdate etc.

I was thinking once we get a little more organised we could make a compilation album and try bootlegging it. Maybe one day we could do cool tricks like mixing eachothers tracks into the next track for a flowing storyline on the album like the old immortality albums. We need to find a way to share samples and mid files to do that first. Takes a lot of time too cos you have to wait for track one to be finished to start on track two. Furthermore we could make the entire album in 136.631 BPM and call the album BitTrance - 136.631. But it's only an idea for now. The numbers fit in nicely with the 'Bit'-them we have going.

Syk0, your email still isn't working. Please fix it or I will refuse to buy the T-shirt. Oh, and thanks for calling me fearless and leader, had a subtle grin on my face for about an hour after reading it.

From now on Rob will be our grapical designer.

Kind regards!

Nick (The Origin)

That's too slow man. How about 137.731 ?

Posted by nhibberd on Jul-06-2005 18:56:

Sorry, i was slightly depressed when I wrote the tread. Feeling better now and maybe 137.731 is better.

why not 140 bpm
lol
hmm this may be off topic but i use to be really good with graphic design incase any help is needed, and about the mix comps, we could also have seperate ones ya know like where we mix some tracks, i wanted to open a production company so if that works out we would have shit sold in ny it sucks that we're not always on at the same time

Also this might seem odd to ask
but wat would we do if lets say one of the members goes crazy
and starts ripping our work, it is the internet it can happen
although i hope that doesnt

is bittrance.com the new site
i went there in your sig nick and it was just a white page with some text

Posted by syk0 on Jul-07-2005 07:53:

Yeah, I'm currently designing a website template and logo. Will have a 2-3 website + logo templates to show you guys to decide which one you think is best. HOWEVER, if you want to have a shot at comming up with a logo, feel free to.

That could happen any time. I sometimes add noise at different spaces in a track when it's 320 kbps. Or post it in 128 kbps, that's not good enough for record labels. But i don't think any of us is ready for labels yet (don't know for sure, have only heard tracks from a few members).

First produce the hell out of ya, creating quality tracks, then think about labels...

Updates to site will now be shown in this post as I continue designing it. Feel free to give feedback, or content that I could add ie. a bio to make it look good

Posted by syk0 on Jul-07-2005 17:24:

cool design! I can host it if you want or point the domain name at your server. I don't know if I can give you ftp/ssh access to just bitTrance tho. I have a couple of sites with that hosting compnay and one is for business. So I don't want to give you access to everything.

The one I put up is just quick & dirty.

Posted by Rob on Jul-07-2005 17:35:

oh okay, I'll set that up on the space my ISP gave me. I can't implement a PHP forum tho because my ISP won't allow access to SSI's and all that weird server code.

Posted by nhibberd on Jul-07-2005 17:51:

I agree, an ISP on an SSI would conflikt with the scrollbar setting on the PHP. And their is no point in linking up a TRH with a FGK cos the low-level bitenhancement setting will be corrupted. Furthermore the IGF will have trouble up-, down- and sideloading from the RWC extention wobly thing.

Don't you agree?

What kinda of forum we going to have phpbb?

im just asking because i have the unlimited trial version of IPB (the legal unlimited trial one!)

WTF does TRH, FGK, IGF mean?

Posted by syk0 on Jul-07-2005 19:19:

he was joking!

but we will need a bigger flux capacitor!

Posted by DjGeMiNi529 on Jul-10-2005 09:48:

its been 3 days and no one posts here
come on guys the forum over there wont be too active till we get a real one in, leave all new info here cause its hard when we're all on diff time zones

Posted by Rob on Jul-10-2005 10:05:

Yesterday my file system got corrupted, and I lost over 60gig of work, mp3's I've made/collected from the last 3 years All the samples for my tracks (kicks, hihats, claps) for my projects are GONE, as are all the samples I've mastered for my tracks Lucikly my reason project files were saved as they wern't in the "my documents" folder.

But damn, everything's gone and I have to start from scratch -cries-

Posted by Rob on Jul-10-2005 10:06:

Even the Virus KC pic I had for my design on the website is gone, along with the cool fonts I collected over the years

Posted by DjGeMiNi529 on Jul-10-2005 10:51:

shit that fucken sucks dude
i been there before i actually didnt produce for a while when that happened

Posted by syk0 on Jul-10-2005 11:29:

Rob, so sorry to hear that...

Maybe a lesson for everyone to burn shit to CD as a backup

Posted by Rob on Jul-11-2005 10:12:

Yep, backup onto a DVD-R(didn't have one until this disater) and mirror your hardrives so if one screws up you have back up. Last but not least, get a damn good virus scanner and keep it up to date.

Skyo, I got your email and nice intro. Mixing is a bit off, but the different elements in there don't make it repetitive + nice bassline.

OH, and how is setting up the forum going? I suggested dowloading a free PHPBB forum as it would give us an outlet to make threads about our tracks, upload links to our tracks and get proper organized feedback.

I'm currently redesigning the website but will be at a loss without all my nice pics of the Virus KC
