Yeah, but don't your TTs plug into the Digital unit, which then goes to the comp, back to unit, then to mixer?
TT>Unit>Comp>Unit>Mixer

So theres no cable going from TT to phono in on the mixer. Or thats the way I thought it was. Obviously I'm mistaken.
So I guess my real question is, how is it actually hooked up, do you have from TT>mixer, as well as TT>unit?

you're turntables plug directly into the unit, which is connected to the computer via USB / firewire.

the unit then has 2 pairs of RCA cables per channel for the mixer. 2 go into line, 2 go into phono.

if for example you decided you just wanted to spin regular vinyl, the unit would still need to be powered on as the signal is gettin routed thru that. the pc / laptop does not have to be on tho.

Couple of facts too.
Fire-wire 800 is the only fastr than USB. USB 2 is faster than non-powered firewire. I use ABLETON LIVE on USB.

The last time I checked, PVD was definitely using FS 2. So, I'm not even sure if this could be a hoax thread to start with ?

Yeah dude it's a hoax thread. I got a few TAs together and we all decided to fake photos in an effort to get laid. You busted us.

Here's another hoax thread -- http://scratchlive.net/forum/discus...ion_id=4472#new

Can anyone ID those Sony headphones PVD is using?

Posted by Trance Nutter on Jul-15-2005 06:23:

also known as MDR-V6

They are great headphones, relatively cheap too.

No one is fighting you dumbass. We're just talking about which product is better and how people are making rediculous claims (like you).

FS 2.0 reportedly has a lot of problems, I just bought SSL myself, still trying to figure out where to place the laptop

I plan to have a stand in front of the mixer for my laptop when using SSL. If you have the space, I think it would be a perfect location.

i have a rack mounted on my wall behind my setup where i place my laptop. looks very clean

Posted by mndeg on Jul-18-2005 08:12:
