Great track! good to see some quality stuff around TA
Bren & djbruuen, thanks for your comments guys!
Top track m8. Bloody good work there, I can hear you've spent a lot of time on this one
Hey thanks Drik, glad to have your comment
Yeah, you've gotten quite a few of those
Seriously man. Its good stuff, I listened to it when I first got on the forums but didnt comment because there were so much feedback.
Oh well, nice to bump good stuff once in a while
Really good track, reminds me of robert miles - children (message version).
Vocals are nice, I usually hate vox.
Only comment i have is lower volume on the vocals and less hollow sounding echo (?) on them.
Other than that excellent
sick ass beat... i like the synth growls in between... gives in that old Above and Beyond feel... the vocals are good so far kinda has a Coderoy meets Rank1 feel... the tracks keep on getting better..I'd play this... i also like the doo doo doo's... depending on the set, this track doesn't sound like one that would stand out in the crowd.. even tho it has vocals... they vocals and the track are pretty standard... but if you weren't going for the track to stick out, then that criticism doesn't apply.
Yes the piano sounds rather programmed than natural.
I used to have the same problem, but then I friend of mine (Bricky) gave me some tips which were really useful, since he is a real pianist. These are the tips he e-mailed me.
Should be easy to fix though: A
pianist will naturally accent any notes that fall on the beat. You'll
need to do this with the programming too (increase the velocity of these
notes). Also, a pianist will accent even more the first note in every
bar ... do this too. And finally, the notes are hit far too hard. No
pianist would actually play them that hard. The average playing
velocity for mf is probably about 40 to 60. f would be about 60 to 80,
and ff would be 80 to 100. I don't think any pianist would normally go
over 100 ... it's actually not easy to do (you need really strong
fingers!). So try to get your velocities to match these values ...
roughly anyway.
So to make them sound natural I edit the velocity so the notes are played at 60 and the accented piano notes at 70.
As for the vocals, amazing and track is uplifting as usual, good stuff.

heh I thought I've already commented on this one...funny, been listening to this track every now and then lately.
listening to the dub version (didn't like the vox
)
in the intro I think there's something too wet in the low freqs area..
driving bassline..but the track sounds kinda empty til this pad comes in around 1:30, nice one
the lead sounds kinda wet..maybe it's because of the quality? (96kbps)
like the melody
now it all kicks in..the bass does its job well! very diriving bassline and beat..
love this track..but as I said there's something wet in the mix but maybe it's beacuse of the low quality..?
anyway good luck with it
Oooh, sweet. The main part in this is gorgeous. As mentioned previously the bass is really nice! I also love the pads and the little melodies. The hi-hats drive the track really well too.
The vocals are overall pretty good, the best bit is when they are used in the main parts, really gorgeous, although maybe a bit too loud.
The only negative for me is the break. Feels a bit drawn out and I don't think the piano sounds that good.
But overall, I really enjoyed this. Good work.

haha maybe mike shiver isn't a pianist... who cares his toy piano sounds really good IMO..
but this piano yeah could sound fuller... whether you want to go realistic or not, either way it could be improved.
Just dropping in to say congrats on all your success thus far. Hope it continues.
sounding nice and full indeed
cant find anything i dont like in it ! solid tune
