-this is a project im working on.. its the only thing not banging hard trance that i have made in a while...
as i said, speakers suck, so all the freq's shouldve had a brush up, but who cares...

when i say his productions suck, it isnt bcus they do not show talent, but its because they sound just like trance sounded in 98, production wise.. and that is not a good thing.. i mean, there were a lot of good songs 'back then', but trance sounds a different way now, its thicker, and does not have that whole 'n00bish' feel to them. imo cor fijneman productions/remixes are on the same production level that my mate produces and he really suck at it.

wtf is a noobish feel?

i understand what he means about a noobish feel, the sounds didnt sound as full, but thats mostly just less stuff to work with. as technology advanced, it was possible to sound better, i guess.

Cor's a fatass... and his productions aren't too good.

simple as.

Rather than write three pages complaining about being insensetive about weight, just accept it and move on.

thats your opinion.. i think it has a nice catchy mel, but on the production side its so crappy imo that it doesnt work at all in my ears... i actually have bought alot of cor's records, but thats for the remixes...

How many times you need to tell yourself (and us) that you don't like Cor's production, WE GOT IT. Really.

when 2000 people are dancing their ass off in a club on Saturday morning.... I don't really give a fuck about what you think about production values.

Let's face it, though - people on a club will dance to almost anything. Only the elitists really care what the tune is.

thats true.
past saturday night we had a party, the warm-up dj played house, after him was a friend of mine (uplifting), before my friend goes to the decks the other dj played lethal industry,
everybody was screaming/dancing instantly, and i was like "WTF YOU n00bs"

i dunno why, but this thread is funny

Most overrated dj in the Netherlands. Really nothing special as a dj or as a producer. He only gets any attention beacause of the fact that he is a member of the blackhole crew.

Silence the Sneak - Hotwired is banging, the rest is pretty mieh

Posted by NiteMer on Jun-27-2005 18:01:

I've never bought any of his original productions, but I do, indeed, like Sparkles. I may very well have some other tracks that he helped write, that I don't know he was involved in. Every track of his I've seen on In Trance We Trust has been pretty shitty.

I disagree with this statement. You have to play the right music for the venue/timeslot to get the right crowd participation. Sometimes it doesn't matter what you do, and they won't move. I played a show with D-Fuse, this Saturday, and myself, another noted local, and D-Fuse couldn't really get the floor going. Everyone kind of hung out by the bar. The promoter didn't get enough people, which was part of the problem, but I've played there twice and haven't seen any vibe yet. Other places have vibe, but the wrong choice in records/style can kill the dancefloor. Clubs might be different in Europe, but track selection makes a big difference, from my experiences.

i fucking loved exhibition

If cor wasnt a succesful dj and producer he wouldn't have been given a CDR with Tiesto's unreleased track and then subsequently loose it giving rise to one of the funniest TA threads.

...So cut him some slack

Some of the responses in here are pretty stupid... perhaps those of you that are making fun of how he looks should post pics of yourselves.

i started it, ill be the first to do so.

The only track on the new album that i like is Banger which has a good drive and a nice dark feel to it, the rest is very average.

The mix cd is also average apart from Tiesto Remix of Venus which is a great track. Apart from that there's alot of stupid talking over the whole cd by Cor and Tiesto's MC which has already been wished to death 10000 times by everyone here.

His recent remixes have also been below average, improving nothing.

He's fat, but that's not a problem for me, since that doesn't matter for the music. And it's easy to say he's ugly on a forum where nowhere can see you...

BTW where is Infernus, that was a decent track...

I think it was you who actually made that flashmovie, that is one of the most disrespectful things i have ever seen in my entiry life. If after that you tell people they were disrespectfull when they called someone ugly then you're a real 100% idiot.
