I wasnt a big fan of this movie. i grew up watching the one from 1953 and i have heard the broadcast a few times (my dad loved this movie when i was growing up) and i was disappointed.

yes it had suspense, but i dont know it could be that i dislike tom cruise, and i really didnt like the way spielburg did this. i dunno maybe i am just attached to the old one, it was a classic *shrug*.

everything these days is being remade, it is kind of a shame.
