-- Discogs Is Back Up!
Pages (3): « 1 2 [3]
So I check my e-mail today, and I have two messages from people wanting to sell stuff that's on my wantlist. That could only mean one thing, so I head to Discogs and... It works!
All is hunky dory again =)
discogs server down again?
doesn`t work since 2 days
Well, it's not necessary to register to get the ads to go away, if you catch my drift. *ahem*
I assume they are replacing the servers now!

All this recent downtime makes me appreciate just how useful the service is. I'm pretty certain I'm going to pay for a premium membership after this, if it helps them even a little bit.
Discogs is dead.
Simcut killed it.
kid i kid i
it's partially back up here...
i. for one am definitely not gonna pay for it until it works smoothly.

^ WTF!
it works smoothly 97% of the time, this is the 3% when it doesnt, dont be a wanker about it.

yeah, seriously.... this isn't fucking life support... it's a discogs web site... so what if it's down 3% of the time... they try, and they try hard. shit happens, deal with it. it was class of them to pro-rate all premier members 1 month free.
you know i didn't realize how important discogs was until it was down. it really is essential to my life these days hahaha
but all of you guys complaining need to give it a rest, they work hard to make that site what it is and its seriously the best resource i've ever seen for the information that it gives. if they have a little down time that's fine with me...

I'm able to access it right now, though the search function isn't working. If you have the direct link to artist or release pages, they will load after a minute or so.
Bloody hell ... I have so many things to check up on, cant wait till Discogs gets back up. I have to add some new CDs I bought yesterday to my collection.
Why why why ...
I'll donate some money once the service becomes regular, like it was 2 months ago.
Simcut: if I get a membership thing on Discogs (donation), does it mean my pending releases will be processed sooner? I need to know an answer to this important question, since I have like 100 CDs to add, and I've managed to have 13 ADDED as of now in a period of 4 and 1/2 months ...
^doubt it.... the queue is sooo long now-a-days... only real way to speed things up is to befriend mods...
