This is well done technically but does nothing to excite me at all.
You probably could get this signed but and it may do well but I think you are looking at a very Saturday night mainstream pop club sound.
Nothing wrong in that, there is a very good living to be had doing that.

As I said though, very high quality in terms of technical ability.

PS
I hope you don't hate me.

Of course I don't hate you, you are entitled to an opinion and your post is probably more useful than those which just say "amazing" and nothing else.

However, please bear in mind that I made this for a teenage audience at casual house parties and things. I never thought this would become a full-length piece, nor did I think it'd be getting radio airplay and club play. As it happens, I'm well aware that it's more of a "Saturday night mainstream pop club sound", and as such I have distributed it to Birmingham DJs from club nights with exactly that sound.

I doubt it'll get signed. I simply can't be bothered with the legal hassles, and I don't even know how to go about approaching someone like Coldplay for permissions. Even if I did, I highly doubt they would commission this.

Thanks for your praise on the technics of the track anyway, that's very important to me.

same reason i haven't looked at this thread until now... i have a great deal of respect for coldplay and would hate to see an amazing song of theirs remixed badly but this thread has been around for a while. so time to check it out... downloading now.

not bad man... remixing a track like this is very limiting since you don't have acapella of the original. However, with that given, you did pretty well , respect. imo, i still prefer the original. that song is so strong by itself, that adding more to it takes away from the lyrics. just my opinion.

Stick to doing originals, your production skills are good, and i'd rather hear originals from ya

keep it up

i love coldplay

the first impretions good, i like the kick, its got good punch, the cold play loop could be a bit quiter, the music dosent realy do much though, seems u've relyed on the singing to much, it needs more change concerning the construction on your part. if you were to change more of your music it would do everything proud. im guessing it didnt take that long to make, but still good idea, it just needs more time spent on it. marks outa 10 = 6.

Found this track *quite* late, but, it's excellent. Simple, but very nice to listen to it.

Yes, i like this song, great sound nothing really special but that is just good. Maybe there is possibility to through in a gated and filtererd lead at the moment the guitar solo is coming. In my opinion that gives the track more.
