thats still the coolest space for a club ive ever seen - havent been there in years since the Gatecrasher parties, but I used to love all those creepy video images and the "altar"/stained glass windows, dark hidden nooks and crannies -- just being fucked up in a church is weird enuff to begin with...

I agree. That building is definitely the coolest and most unique venue in the city. My second favoirte behind Exit.

leave MADE EVENTS at Spirit...the sound system seems pretty good and MADE is doing a good job. Sure Spirit will *never* EVER be Twilo but its not *that* BAD. ive never had any REAL positive things to say about Avalon -- althought they do tend to THROW money at djs to make them come spin over here. as long as they doesn't bring THEIR crowd over thats all i care about.
