Andy Moor however, I consider to be one of the worst producers to surface in the past few years, despite a couple of decent early productions and remixes in 2000/2001.

Yes.

I'd also point to Schulz's remix of Talk Like A Stranger as one of the few examples of good American Progressive.

Is Markus born in America or in Germany? I've heard that his originally from Germany but moved to U.S a while back.

hehe true, but you never know in america, nothing really is american, almost everyone came here from different countries, so the last names arent really american .

halcyon (I could go with leama e moor - litle wonder too) > *insert any couldharbour reconstruction tune here*
sorry.

without even getting into who made who's favorite songs... going by production quality alone and which producers got the better skills.

Andy Moor by far...just the way andy sequences his tracks, his sound effects, percussion, etc... beats markus badly. his basslines especially, though usually using the same type of sounds, are just so addicting.

markus does have some nice tracks... though i cannot deny.

Markus Schulz. His tracks are well produced and they're unique. Andy Moor sounds like the cheapest Casio keyboard.

Scootah or DeeJay Sammyeh?
