I a bought 4 tickets online and they charged me the $8.75 fee, so I went to this ticketmaster store and they still charged me the fee. So either way, you'll get charged.

aww they raised the ticket price...

Posted by NeroFlash on Aug-13-2005 23:39:

yes it's now $77.50 for general admission + $8.75 service fee

$37.50 RESERVED CONCOURSE SEATING (NO ACCESS TO FLOOR)
$47.50 RESERVED LOGE SEATING (NO ACCESS TO FLOOR)
$77.50 FLOOR GENERAL ADMISSION (FREE T-SHIRT)
$210 FLOOR GENERAL ADMISSION (VIP STANDING SIDE STAGE, VIP & BACKSTAGE LOUNGE, COMPLIMENTARY BEVERAGES, FULL BAR FOR 21 YEARS AND OLDER, FREE T-SHIRT)

I wonder how that no access to the floor will work.

Resons why you should have gotten your tickets early..

Good Question... I have no idea...

Concerts that I have attended that have had floor general admission usually have just a couple of gates open for floor access and will provide a wrist band.

It is virtually impossible to jump down without getting caught.

Have a great time everyone

how long is his set supposed to last?

Posted by in2muzikk on Aug-14-2005 08:01:

4 hours, 9:30 - 1:30. Godskitchen told me that TIC is considered a "concert" and that all concerts at the Sports Arena are required to end at 1:30 a.m. ...but there is the afterparty with Matt Darey starting at 2 a.m. So, $77.50 + 8.75 svc charge = $86.25 - $30 (est.) for concert t-shirt = $14.06 an hour to hear the world's number one DJ in concert...not bad imho!

Posted by sweetcandy girl on Aug-15-2005 14:21:

Any one else going??

Posted by knowname on Aug-15-2005 17:08:

Not long enough for the price they want.

What is the - $30.00?

Posted by DaveT on Aug-15-2005 17:41:

You really thing that shirt is worth $30? Give ma break. Go by the COST of the shit to make...which is probably about $2-$3. Yes, if you mass manufacture shirts and make like 10,000-20,000 of them, you can get them for like $3/each...It's their way of making the ticket sound cheap.

Give me a break!

i think he's referring to the cost of buying it there

so technically if you were to buy the non floor ticket, and a $30 shirt...it would equal the same amt.

But I don't want a freakin T-shit!

Posted by Chryz707 on Aug-15-2005 18:36:

The fact that they raised the ticket price signals problems. I am happy i got my tickets but shit, the ticket for GA floor is now $77.00, they should have left it alone at $60.00, i think it will drive people away even more now.

Posted by TSG on Aug-15-2005 19:27:

Email I received from the BOX OFFICE:

The price for the general admission standing floor tickets are $77.50.There is a $210.00 VIP ticket also..we are open Monday through Friday 10:00am 6:00pm.we will also be open at 10:00am the day of the event..

I'm wondering if they raised the price to compensate for all the tickets they thought they would be selling? This so-called concert is probably costing lots of $$$ and they probably didn't sell enough tickets to cover everything.

Ya, like ME. It's only $10 more, but that put me over the limit I think. Especially considering I have to drive up from SD, get a Tiesto ticket, get an afterparty ticket, and get a hotel. Why does fun have to be so damn expensive.

Posted by bas on Aug-15-2005 23:38:

not all fun costs lots.

but i think three-esto is getting a lot bit crazah!

Posted by in2muzikk on Aug-16-2005 04:28:

yeah, the shirt costs $3 but is probably sold for $30...exactly...but just try and find one for $3 (that will last more than one washing, the one from the guy on the street doesn't count!)

So guess I shouldn't admit that I bought my first Tiesto shirt from the store in Holland for 40EUR and had it shipped internationally! I dunno, I guess DJ t-shirts are my anti-drug. At least this party is in devalued $USD, not Euros! I really do hope it sells out though, in Holland 55,000 tickets were sold in 3 hours...what is wrong with America?

Posted by in2muzikk on Aug-16-2005 04:35:

...and I'm off topic yet again! We now resume our regularly scheduled Tiesto roll call currently in progress...
