Would have to say a combined on average 4 hours travel time/fucking around time to go work an on average 5 hour shift.

That, and the shifts tend to be precisly placed to be the most annoying, too early do you can't do anything before hand with your day, and finish too late so you can't really do much afterwards. The entire saturday gone, for a 5 hour shift.

That said, it has its benifits, the work is alright, get to watch football for free, get the 'left overs' pay is alright for someone like me, and the people I work with are good too (many of them hawt )

MCG or Telstra Dome?

Posted by Breeze on Aug-10-2005 10:24:

workplace politics.

Posted by G`Dave on Aug-10-2005 10:32:

Telstra Dome most of the time, in the bars, get moved around alot, from any of the outlet bars, to livewire or access one, or sometimes cougar bar.
Same company does Melbourne Park too, so I work at most of the concerts and things they have there.

yeah nurses always look good after they pull a double
to think, id be in the same shoes if i didnt make it into the course im doing now

support your nurses everyone, go to your local hospital and give em a high five and a coke

on a side note, went past the cumberland asylum the other day and that would be one hell of a place to work, being all high walled and looking like a colonial gaol

lol... i reckon teaching's wicked fun. at least at the uni level. nothing like spouting off some complete freak opinion and having a bunch of ppl say 'wow, really?'. disturbing when i'd go off on a tirade about nothing and see these girls scribbling madly in their notebooks.... 'stop it, stop it, im talking complete shit, don't write this stuff down!!' not that that happened, i mean. *cough*

usually about american foreign policy.

worst thing about new job is that i buy waaaaay too many records.

working for a development manager who actually boasts that he ignores all emails, and waits until after client deadlines have passed to call them and say he disagrees with the agreed aproach and wants to redesign things.
very embarassing when on friday night, I'm with the customer trying to find out where the updates are that were promised by 5pm, which were before that promised on wednesday, and we get the same line ...i don't agree with that approach. the same approach you agreed to on wednesday after disagreeing with the approach you agreed to last week?
he made millions selling the company and is now struggling with te concept that he now works for someone else now.
