African American is a dumb term anyway. You're either American or African. Plus, white people live in Africa too. So I guess they're just referring to the African-American Africans.

Actually one of my best friends is a black guy. I call him "Darker Than Me" as a nickname, or "Darker" for short. It's funny seeing people's reactions when I'm trying to get his attention in a crowd.
