Raised as a Presbyterian. I don't know whether or not I actually believe in God, though.

They do. My ex is a scientologist. And his family.

Agnostic btw.

And, I'm keeping peace and staying out of religion flame wars, since I'm known to be a provoker ( Lira)

lol and they don't
definately by no means scientology, such fucking bullshit
i think christianity is bullshit...don't get me started on shit like scientology

i was raised with no real religion
mother was catholic although not huge on it or anything, and my dad was quaker
quarkerism(?) is actually pretty good from all i've been reading about
founded on tolerance etc blablabla, but the key beliefs (of certain sects of course), is that everyone has an inner spirit said to reflect the light of christ. while i don't believe in christ really, it still hints more towards the idea that humans are the divine, not fictional god figures

personally, i'd say i lean towards buddhism or quakerism

Agnostic, like it appears most are on this board.

Posted by *InVeRs3* on Aug-14-2005 06:11:

roman catholic.

the hardcore type who go force beliefs into you non believers and bomb abortion clinics and don't respect other's rights and hate them jews and muslims, hate gays, hate other religions, and love war since that's what religion is about, since that's what us christians all believe.

I am an atheist and that makes me better than the rest of you.

I was baptized Roman Catholic and was a Catholic school girl for twelve years. Even after all that religion, Im still questioning. Im not really Catholic anymore, I dont go to Mass and I cant stand Vatican II... Im too much of a liberal and a scientist to buy it all.

Im sorry if that offended anyone, s'just what I think.

Jew, believes in god but don't agree (and don't follow) with all the rules we have.

Posted by Streakfury on Aug-14-2005 12:31:

I have no religion, as I don't need the rules of a religion to lead what I would call a good life.

And religion exists as a measure of control, to keep the general public in check. But that's another story.

Posted by Subey on Aug-14-2005 14:23:

I proselytized atheism untill I met Gaia.

Now I practice the universal religion of love.

Posted by AlphaStarred on Aug-14-2005 14:44:

You must be very promiscuous, then.

Satanism is not a religion, it is the unreligion.

or something like that
