-- under-rated psytrance/goa trance song??
Pages (3): « 1 2 [3]
ticon is great. Actually the whole swedish and scandinavian psy scene is awesome...ticon, tegma, human blue, atmos, son kite!
i think indidginus is swedish.... they do amazing stuff ... didjeridoos linked to synthesizers and stuff like that!!!! insane

hey, are you on tribal harmonix? ^^^
no im not... what is it??
its a local British Columbia forum...pretty much all the worthy psy trance events are posted there, among other things. but its a really strong community and ive made alot of really good friends at alot of the events posted. theres one comming up (in vancouver) called "Essence", on november 12th.
okay sounds good... ill look them up....
listening to Electric Universe - The Prayer again, been a while, anyhow is that song insane or what
you can friggin nuke a building with this one

lolz ya... he's really cool... the one he did with spacetribe lolz ("the doses are up..... the music gets louder and the chap who just freaked out, didn't pass the acid test") awesome stuff love it.... ive been looking for electric u, but finding good psy here is like finding icecubes in the desert.

| Originally posted by twisted i wouldn't say he is underrated at all, but yeah, that is a wicked, wicked song. boris blenn is definatly a prolific producer, and a very good one at that. you oughta check out his olderstuff if you havn't. pretty much all the stuff under the electric universe guise is good, anything he has done with DJ Sangeet (esp. their Endora project), and my favorite: Jupiter 8000. Jupiter 8000 - Twisted Bliss is soooooooooooo good. get that shit!!!! Atem rmx is such a wicked track... but yeah pretty much anything he has done is fairly good - amazing, with the exception of a handful of useless tracks, but compared to the sheer amount he has produced, it doesnt even compare. btw, im going to compile my own list soon enough. |
Anyhow his earlier stuff like Unify and Stardriver. Those albums contain def some good melodic goa. Will check out those collab projects, thx for the tip
I don't know if this is over-rated or not because no-one in my circle listens to goa/psy, but Buzzmonx - Insane is truly insane! I've never read about any DJ spinning this track, nor ever seen it mentioned on TA, so I'm making an assumption.
THC
well, I like the Darker tending towards evil sounding
psychedelic myself...
I'd recommend anything by:
Ocelot (California)
Kindzadza (Russia)
Dark Nebula (Australia)
Grapes of Wrath(Denmark)
Hyper Frequencies (france)
Suria (EU)
Most of the stuff recommended on this thread seems to
be rather older stuff...
if you looking for some wicked psy trance, check out tsuyoshi suzuki and his sister Uki. You can find some of their music here...

2 of my favorite psy tracks of 2005:
Electro Sun - Faded Memories
Fatali - Lucid Dreams
i just picked up Trancecentral Volume One [Kickin, 1995] a few days ago and i recommend it. i really like the first track. the shitty part of the cd tho is that the songs fade out.

1 S.M.I.L.E. Zeta-Riticuli
2 Slinky Wizard Lunar Juice
Co-producer - Simon Posford
3 Resistance D Spacewalk
4 LFO Nurture
5 Lovechild & Rolfe Time Travellers
6 Cyro Lab Robotopia (RND Mix)
7 Richard Brown Flange O Matic
8 Melonhaus Dopamine
9 Ultra High Primitive Love Part 2
10 Area Area 1
11 Kasjmir Evil Dread
12 Excalibur Naked Brunch
Don't know if this is posted yet but if you like dark goa trance you should check out Xenomorph. I haven't heard so much of his new stuff but his releases on Koyote Records is great stuff. While I'm on it, both Koyote and a not so unknown goa trance label called Matsuri was releasing a lot of good goa trance some years ago. Definitely worth checking if you still can find any of their stuff. Always worth checking ebay once in a while.
wizzy noise - "haiku" and "7 deadly sins"
breaking away from thos psy clichs and making a good job of it. speciall with so much psy sounding the same using all the same gimicks these days.
