Hello there Pinokio, how on earth are you keeping mate? Haven't made contact for ages but I'm always wondering where you are, what you up to etc. etc. I hope all's well with you and the new year and Panama has been treating you very kindly. I've been fairly busy with work stuff and also recently started long-distance running with my girlfriend. Anyway, me and my buddies still make time to go party at the beach and let our hair down. We plan to have our next "party" sometime in March so we're eagerly looking forward to it. I did get to get your latest mix but one of my buddies has the cd now. Sorry to say but, although it is good, I have to give it a very biased opinion because "Eternal Bliss" has always a special place in my heart. So, that's the problem you have created for me. Anyway Pinokio, would love to hear more from you and I'm also wondering when you're going to be producing something (how about 3 or 4 killers). Adios pal. Flynno

He Flynno it's very nice to hear from you.
I'm doing fine, been a little busy lately with School (Hopefully I'll finish this year =), Djing, and some work.

About the mixes, I understanmd your feeling, they can be good, but they are different style to Eternal Bliss, I think it's a good time to try and make something in that style that you love.

Just book me over there, I'll be happy to Mix in the party for you and your friends jejeje.

I could try and make a mix for you and your friends again, I think it owuld be nice.
I prefer to get inspired to do a mix, rather than just mixing.

If you can have some pics of the place, that would be nice, I would like to see them =).

About the producing, I started this month to produce, so that would be along time until I can produce something good jeje.

Hope you are doing fine.

Regards from Panama

Hello Pinokio, it's been a while but as always I'm wondering how you're keeping and looking out for your stuff. Hope things are great in Panama (and congrats on Panama's first gold medal at the Athletics World championships in Japan recently). I've been fairly busy myself and have been wanting to respond to your latest mix Visual Thoughts for a long while now. First thing is that I haven't heard such a fresh, crisp mix before. Not quite sure how to explain it. Maybe a little bit like you describe it but instead of the million tv screens, I feel like it's millions of little white electrons floating in the air which contains all the sounds and it's coming at you from all over. I defnitely get the euphoric feeling which is very rare nowadays. I think you've achieved exactly what you set out to achieve by experimenting with the sound - it's amazingly different and like you say, it's effing beautiful sounding. One drawback for me however was the mashup-like effect throughout the set which I didn't really enjoy. Reason I say this is because I found myself concentrating on all the different sounds coming from all over and not really focussing on the actual tracks which by the way were all great. So, in terms of the sound you set out to achieve I think that you've taken it to a new level. Having said that, I do believe that it is a very dangerous sound for me cos I'm not sure I'll be able to cope with the beauty of the sound you've managed to pull off here. Like I said upfront, it's really difficult to describe, but it's only because it is very impressive. My mates and I are still having our 2-monthly sessions at the beach. We have one coming up end of September and I think it's about time that we had another Pepa special moment (hehehe). Cheers mate. Hope to hear from you extremely soon. Flynn

Great mash up!

Posted by Tarpex on Sep-17-2007 20:39:

By any chance a 320kbps version of this lovely piece of mashing?
Only remark is that it would be cool to hear more of s2g's pluck in the force of gravity part, to make it sound more in synergy, it's actually after the main breakdown when u used the full potential of both songs. (It almost got me crying though from 6:30 forward, i'm an absolute fan of both songs, it's indeed epic here )
But nonetheless, excellent.

Well I've been asked before to send the 320kbps version, but it doesn't exist "sadly", the only version I have is the 192 kbps.

jejeje almost got you crying, that's very nice it made you feel like that =)

Thanks for listening and feeling the music so deeply =)

best regards

Pepa
