I've only heard CD2, but I think its awful. Desyn started this electro fad and it really needs to stop. Just my 2 cents though...

Had a massive pile of paperwork to do yesterday while listening to the second disc. Got me grooving and pumped for something I usually hate doing.

just read the beginning of this thread and i want to share my desyn story

nye last year here in LA at the giant village, 2 of my friends are opening for desyn/digweed and i see desyn just standin around. so i went up to talk to him...cool fucking guy, he liked my watch and i offered to trade for some backstage action. turns out he's not THAT cool

but yeah...cool guy hope him and digweed are here every nye muahahahaha all ours!!

wicked wicked tracks and amazing mixing...i like how Desyn uses tracks of different genres and that one cant really classify this whole CD into one genre...except just to say that its amazing music!

This comp I don't think is fair to compair to GU 28 because they're two different sounds!

None the less I would say it is as good as the GU!!

Ok, so I'm going to go against the majority here. I've only listend to some of this so far, but it's not blowing me away. I started with disc 2 because of Halcyon, so maybe 1 is better. I'm hoping that upon listening to it all a few times, I'll change my mind.

I like Desyn, OS 0.1 was great. I was really looking forward to this album. I like a lot of the tracks, but to me, they just don't flow together. Someone was saying earlier that they loved how there were so many different genres and styles thrown in. The problem is, you can't take tracks from several genres, throw them into a hat and pull them out at random. I thought the transition from Halcyon to Spirals - X was bad. It changed the mood TOO much and got way too peppy all of a sudden, as my girlfriend put it when we were listening to it last night. We turned it off 45 minutes in and listened to Zabiela's Part Zero mix, instead (which I had listened to earlier at work and knew she'd enjoy).

I also don't really like diva housey sounding Moloko - Cannot Contain This, but that's just my own personal thing with the diva sound.

how many clubs have backstages? i dont think ive seen any outside of the places that hold regular concerts and happen to have a big name dj there for one night.
