I'm not saying going out and spending money to hear him play house, I'm saying just listening to a set by him where he spins mainly house. You wouldn't be in the least bit interested. I like to hear it when djs I like spin something different and in a genre I like.

On another side note, is that really supposed to be some epic poem in your sig? "My sig was too big"

I would definitely be interested to see what he could do with another genre. But I would be a little upset if he stuck with it in live shows since I like his style of trance.

My sig, I had a pretty cool animated one but it exceeded forum standards as far as file size so it got deleted.

ok im gonna add a new person to this topic

M.I.K.E aka push now there is a guy that can produce and dj and really knows how to tear shit up, think of all the hits that guy has made, i dont think there has been one push track i didnt like, and even his stuff as mike is decent to, but strange world and universal nation own all

Both of them suck at the moment...Shivers was just horrible, Tiesto in Concert is the world's largest circus act/scam.

Posted by Alex on Sep-19-2005 19:19:

Armin rules trance now, I don't think there's any question...

Tiesto rules in Fame, and in BS venues that feature acrobats and stupid shit that glorify him.

one of the all time best tracks by push the legacy

my vote is for armin.

I like Tiesto's track selection better than Armin's. Armin is a better mixer though.

Productionwise, I like Tiesto's stuff a lot better than Armin's.

tiesto has great track selection. i enjoyed tic la. maybe that was one of his great nights, but judging him by that night, he had a good track list. mixing wasnt THAT great for being #1. armin just mixes great. his track selections are also good from what i hear at asot. everytime i listen to armin, i just enjoy it. i especially love the XXL shows he does that he mixes one track after another non stop.
i first thought shivers album wasnt that good and depressing comparing to 76, but after listening to it alot im really enjoying it. wall of sounds is one of my favorites, but the album doesnt really contain much uplifting trance.

so tiesto: great track selection overall, but he doesnt deserve to be #1 anymore

armin: great dj, he should be #2, 1 or at least in the top 3. i would like to see him #1 for atleast a year though and see how hes gonna change after the fame.

With as quickly as he's balding (and apparently gaining weight) he better milk his popularity for all it's worth while he still can.

A wise man once said, "Tiesto has a face even a mother couldn't love".

Tis true, tis true.

Hehe. Ferry is pretty cool but his track selection the two time I saw him this year... eeeeeeeeeh. It was a fun night but I had more fun with Armin.

I have to admit. I have yet to see Tiesto live so I dont want to give an opinion set in stone on the matter.
