LOLOL. I kinda saw that one coming. Okay, then I'll ask a question on the other side of the spectrum. Table reservations? 3, 400?

If you have a citibank card you shouldnt use at crobar.Because couple months ago i went to the crobar and i got only 2 beers. However bartender couldnt charge me.She said my card is not working.I paid to her $12 cash. After the club i gone to the penn station to go back home and i check my balance. It was $250 short.Yeah i paid over $250.

I gone back to the crobar again.I told them the issue and they said they didnt charge me $250.

As a resut even though i got my money in 10 days, Crobar was really rude. They didint help me at all.

I use my Citibank card there all the time without a problem. There is a minimum tab of $30 I think. Was the $250 charged by Crobar, because I'd be surprised if it was coming up in your account info by the time you got to Penn Station, since a business day hadn't passed yet?

I had a similar thing happen at Webster Hall in 2003 (yeah, it was my first time there with a bunch of people from work, it sucked, my only return was for the crystal method). Anyhow, i opened a tab with my debit card, signed off on my tab, which was like $50 and the next day was called by my credit card company for "irregular activity". Apparently, they had charged me $300 and $50. I told them that the $50 was correct, but not the $300. My only rationale was that they did a pre-authorization amount to determine that I had the spending capability, but the card showed it as a charge for a day or two. I know that happens with hotels if you make reservations with a debit card which is why they don't recommend it, because it will take a few days to put the money back in your account if you don't charge the room to that account. Either way, I didn't have to pay it, so it wasn't a huge deal. My boss also had the same problem there the same night and got a similar call from her credit card company.

Either way, it sucks, but at least you got your money back.
