Agreed, To me, Ferry's RMX is the best, it craps all over recent efforts. Sometimes things should be left alone...hehe ;-)

For me, one of the first tracks to really claim me, was Hamels RMX of Mara's 'One', opening track of Nick Warrens Budapest CD comp. Deep, brooding and intense progressive trance. Still gives me the tingles when I hear it...

Aha, indeed!!

Mine was Pendulum's 'Coma' (Vicious Vinyl mix) in 1997. Wicked, wicked track.

Didn't actually hear EDM as such at a club/event til 2002 when I was exceptionally easily persuaded to go to God's (I was rocking on the RnB dancefloors in a drunken sway prior to then Ha )

i couldn't think of anything worse (well actually i could, but im exaggerating) than being drunk and listening to RnB.

Don't get me wrong... I've never, ever liked RnB (that's why I had to get really drunk, and cos I was really drunk, I would... sway...!)

Posted by Teflon_Teapot on Sep-30-2005 02:52:

did you go into the gangsta poses as well? you have to do that when dancing to rnb and rap, you must become the gangsta.

yes, an rnb dancer feels the gangsta flowing through him. it binds us, surrounds us.

I think the first ever for me was my mate's at the time street FM album.
What I wouldn't give for a copy of that cd, but I've never been able to find it since, all I remember from it was Opus III - It's a Fine Day (some remix or rather).

Those were classic days, think I'll arrange my mp3 collection by 'modified' just to see what the frist track I ever downloaded was *legally ofcourse, *cough*

Posted by Teflon_Teapot on Sep-30-2005 05:15:

of course no one illegally downloads music anymore
