Anyway...on with the review:

Music - Dekay was impressive. Like Josh though, I was a little disappointed with the lack of Digifruitella. Seaman...WOW! Never heard him before. He was amazing! Hard bangin' beats! I couldn't stop dancing...I went to the bathroom with Nada, and my body just kept moving while I was holding the door!
Me, Josh, Vrk & Mike had our minds set on leaving early...so much for that! We closed the night...there was no way we were gonna leave a second earlier.

Crowd - It was nice to have some room to dance. And dance we did! TAs owned both front and centre AND the entre front of the stage. My fave is when Sean saw some chic dancing in our space and was like "Who the fuck is that? I should tell her to get out of our area!"

TAs - Though it would have been great to see a lot of you who couldn't make it out, it was nice to have a smaller crew, so I was happy to be able to spend more than just 5 minutes with everybody!

Nada - My dancing partner Happy Bday baby! I miss you like woah! We rocked that place from start to finish!!

Ali - great to FINALLY be introduced to you! Haha Thanks for the water!

Vrk - So great to party with you again. I'm not letting you move to Croatia!!

Dan - You have so much energy! Glad you got your spot on the podium. You desreved it!

Vlad - Can't wait to see Shaya's video (2 actually) of us standing there posing...thinking he was taking a picture!

Sean - where the hell did you go? I missed my other dancing partner!!

Shaya - Great to meet you! Thanks for everything Great pictures!!

Cale - What can I say? I told you it would be awesome! Sorry I bailed on our drunken escapades. Thanks for making me feel like shit b/c I had to wear my glasses and my shoes didn't match. Haha

Graham - High 5s on making it out. It was awesome to hang out with you, and no you didn't bother me by talking to much. Like I said...as long as it doesn't interfere with my dancing.

Everyone else...Jenn, Danielle & friends, Orko, Jason, Brenden, Mike, Ben, Max...all the new faces I met & others I forgot (sorry), good times my friends!!

Sorry I can't make it up for Ferry - my fave :*( - but I"ll see you at Andy Moor!

Oh man! At one point I slipped on the water and almost flew down the stairs by that stage! That song was also the high lite for me. But other than that, I was dissapointed with Dekay Hopefully next time he'll be here he'll rip the place, otherwise I'll just give up on this future star! Some of his sets I listed to over the past couple weeks are very unpredictable. It's either he'll be solid or skip cd's!!

I had a great time! But as some of you have already mentioned, the vibe was kind of off.

I think partly it was because Dekay came on at 12, and the place was only have full. Because of this, Dekay played a mostly warm up set, and unfortunatly didnt really get as far into his style as i would have hoped. I was suprised at his mixing, as he would play the main melody leading to the build, and then take out the melody and just kill your with a hard baseline. Very effective. Hearing BAD was certainly a highlight of the night . As for the cd skipping, lay off the guy. Sometimes cds get damaged without you even knowing, so it happens. Yes it was annoying, but nothing earth shattering. Dekay played well enough for my liking, but he certainly did need more time.

Seaman started off weird in my eyes. After Dekay left, Seaman seemed to go a bit downbeat, it just did not flow to me. After the first 30-50min, he picked it up, went harder, more vocal, and more trancey. I loved it! Hearing AFTERMATH yet again, was just too good. That has to be one of the most effective tracks I have ever heard! After that, i just kept hoping, hoping he would play it again, I dont know why I thought he would, but it was just a feeling inside. AND HE DID!!!

Aftermath twice in one night, in one set, was just toooo goood. Yes I was a happy happy boy

Had a great time with the TA's that stayed with me at the front, but most of you moved to the stage. I would have liked to party with you guys, but I just wanted that full sound that you get in the middle of the dance floor. The stage has just too much bass for my liking.

Plenty of room to dance, lots of friendly people, and some good tunes, all in all a good time out.

I wont be coming out for a while i guess, maybe till Lawler, because i just cannot afford Guv 9 year. I had to pick my battles, and I picked Dekay and Seaman over 9 year.

DAVE SEAMAN and MATTHEW DEKAY at GUV REVIEW

October 1st at Guv was one of the best parties of the year for me. I am a Hardcore Dave Seaman fan and know what to expect from him, but I was surprisingly amazed by the talents of Matt Dekay. I would love to hear other people's thoughts. I was laso wondering if anybody had a tracklisting for these guys. Get back to me.

^^ Dekay's true talents were nowhere to be seen last saturday. Too many negative things happened for him to rip the place apart. Maybe next time he'll deliver! The cd skipping

I think he got there around 3am.. all I know is I looked over on the patio and omg.. there he was again.. 2nd night in a row showing up and surprising me after saying he wasn't going to be there.. hahaha

But he will be able to tell ya for sure when he comes back online.
