filterheadz- yimanya, went crazy on in on night? then bought it and played it , the voices make you go in a trance, it's like a transition track from the proggy stuff to the real energetic music, works every time...
I'd have to say either:
Rowan Blades & Chris Lake - Filth
or
Vicious Circles - Vicious Circles (Max Graham Remix)
I played both of these at a warehouse party last year and got an insane reaction from the crowd.

Well, it depends on when I want to make them explode. If it's during the middle of a set, I've had major explosions to:
Marcel Woods and Jesselyn - Fauna
Marcel Woods - Cherry Blossom
F Massif - Somebody (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Yoji Biomehanika - Monochroma (Scot Project Mix)
Santos and Stryke - Amazon (techno/tech house but a fucking BOMB)
Marc Marberg - Guarana
Spoiled and Zigo - More and More (Unvocal mix) <- random guy asked for it out of the blue and I just had to
Sander Van Doorn - AKA (both mixes, more for the Sam one though)
G&M Project - Sunday Afternoon
Carlo Resoort - Tape Delay
...
and if we're counting house: Brooklyn Avenue vs. R.E.M. - Losing My Religion
Duran Duran - Save A Prayer (Dave Matthias 2002 White Label Mix)
however, by far my biggest reaction has, and apparently always will be to Mark Norman - Phantom Manor.
That's just to name a few.
If it's when I want to end a set, the biggest 5 reactions I've gotten were from:
Mindhunters - Eat Dis! (mixed both the Dave 202 mix with the original in between)
Remy and Roland Klinkenberg - Till ya Drop! (TORE the place, and I heard around 5 holy shits close to me)
Sasha - Xpander (works ANYWHERE, but in the end, there's no price for it)
Danjo and Rob Styles - Duende
Sam Barber - Adagio For Strings (Uniting Nations Remix) <- correct me if the ID isn't correct.
Finishing solid.

Yup, with you on the Sasha - Xpander thing... well produced track but again prog isn't my thing.
A track that I have seen tear the place up more recently is...
Red Blue Purple - Marco V
cheers

on a side note while reading this thread and remembering sets I played:
Isn't it the best thing that can happen to a DJ: Playing exactly the RIGHT record at exactly the RIGHT moment?
I love it. one minute can be worth every hour you spent practicing and every $ you spent on vinyl.

Traffic
Indigo
I'm not so much the trance player anymore...but when I drop Sanchez - Turn on the Music (Axwell mix) I usually get a good response. Usually somewhere early in the set!
