I still fail to see any emotion in Joris Voorn

I havnt heard a whole lot of techno but what I have heard.. (mainly local DJs, System 7, Scott Project live) has left me amazed and inspired and generally eager to hear more.

In contrast I've heard a huge ammount of progressive DJs and they generally leaves me feeling bored, tired and a little spaced out. There are exceptions but I guess its not to my taste

So yeah... big up one for the techno massif.

If you listened to Future History and still don't see the emotion i'm quite surprised. His sets are considerably more rough but still hold some of the Future History-style tracks.

It's not as flat-out as epic trance, a bit more subtle, but still it should be obvious it's not completely artificial soul-less mechanic music? That it has a lot more warmth that say your typical hard techno set where the focus is all in the percussions and hard kickdrums?

I'm not trying to force my opinion on you, but surprised with yours.

I see your point when you compare it to other, more 'mechanic' techno, but I still don't think it measures up to other genres that put the focus on emotion, like trance (as you mentioned), or even psy.
