yes you can use official teams. 2k5 is from last year, and because it was better and cheaper than madden, EA went out and got exclusive contracts with NFL and EPSN, so there's no new ESPN NFL 2k6, instead they're bringing back nfl blitz O_o

lol packers, they finally got a win today! although against the saints, that doesn't count!

haha, everyone IS booing the packers, trust me at the minute i think ive had 1 win, with (at least) 5 humiliating defeats much to the enjoyment of my flatmates.

this is of course coz no one will play FPS games with me any more so i have to branch out into what they play, so theres a bit of a learning curve there

really!? sweet! now theyre on par with my poor form i wish we had payTV. madden 05/06 reminded me why i love the game so much. soooooo much cooler than rugby or AFL.

hahaha. rugby blows goats. i like AFL but i like gridiron way more. its more complicated

and i gotta celebrate every packer win coz it dont look like they'll be getting many this year (either IRL or on my PC)

the game runs fine.. and the menu works all good, but when i start the game, the characters dont come out and the game kinda freezes..

yeah, we have a few issues with madden on occasion.
youre right, you should be able to play with those specs. other than updating your vid drivers, you might wanna purchase the retail version of the game

i dunno. there are plenty of reasons why things stop working on a PC. your guess would prob be better than mine.

im not sure how good 2000 is for games either. re-install with XP imo.

soups, i would never trust minimum requirements, they are probably the bare minimum that you can actually load the main menu without problems!
