One of the weirdest games i've seen in my life:

- unbelievable lack of communication between Paulo Ferreira and Ricardo leading to Liechenstein getting their goal
- Pauleta missing an wide open goal
- one of the most blatant penalties ever not being given by the ref, after a superb save from.. a Liechenstein's centre-back. And there was another penalty not given in the second half. We got robbed at home against one of the least powerful countries in Europe
- a Liechenstein striker gently not letting the ball go in for what would have been their second goal, clearing it off the line. He was even offside.

A final result of 1-1 would have been funnier.. too bad we scored the 2-1. I mean.. qualifying for the World Cup without managing to beat Liechenstein

Hopefully this will cool* down the wave of euphoria and make our guys respect the opponents and concentrate the maximum.. but I don't believe it, by June everyone will be again in a retarded super-nationalistic mood.

* i mistyped cool as "could"

That was why I was hoping the game stayed tied until the end.
Long life to Ricardo.

Group 7 in the European WC Qualifier looks wideopen too me. Everything can happen and I really hope that the leading team, Serbia & Montenegro crushes Bosnia & Hercegovina in Belgrade on Wednesday. It'll be a packed Marakana Stadium full of Serbian fans..

Anyways, It's looking pretty open because all teams won their matches today. Serbia & Montenegro won a pretty harsh away-game against Lithuania with the score of 2-0. The only thing that I'm insecure about is if Dejan Stankovic is going to play in Belgrade on Wednesday. He got injured and left the match after about 30 minutes. Zigic is another player that got injured during the match, Hopefully they're back on Wednesday against Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Spain had to win their match in Belgium, and they did, 2-0. Both goals being scored by the Altetico Madrid-player Fernando Torres. Both goals came when Vicente was substituted by Reyes. Reyes even got an assist on the last goal if I don't remember it wrong.

Standings:

TEAM PTS
-----------------------------------
01. Serbia & Montenegro 19
-----------------------------------
02. Spain 17
-----------------------------------
03. Bosnia & Herzegovina 16
04. Belgium 11
05. Lithuania 9
06. San Marino 0

Upcoming fixtures:
21:30 San Marino Vs. Spain
20:30 Serbia & Montenegro Vs. Bosnia & Herzegovina
20:30 Lithuania Vs. Belgium

I know that feeling, It sucks sooooooo much, Especially the night when your team does not make it through, and then afterwards. It starts to feel pretty well when everything is over and when they're qualifying again.

I was watching the game between Portugal and Liechtenstein earlier this morning. I've got to say that the lack of communication between the goalkeeper and I think it was Ferreira was unbelievable. I can't believe that the defender was not talking to the goalkeeper. That goal was probably the easiest one for the Liechtenstein-player - And it came against Portugal in Portugal.

I can't believe that the referee could've missed that obvious penalty. He was pretty good placed too see that the Liechtenstein defender took the ball with his hand, Unbelieveable.

But Portugal did get a penalty that should not have been a penalty, I guess that was compensation for the bad decision by the referee earlier in the match. I thought that Figo would've score on it, But he did'nt, A very hard penalty from Figo's foot placed the ball on over the stadium

But Portugal was way better and they did get a goal, as always the goal was scored by Pauleta. A really nice header there and the goalkeeper did not have a chance.
Liechtenstein had a stunning chance to take the lead later on in the game, But luckily for Portugal the shot from little less than 20m came on a Liecthenstein-player and he actually saved the ball on it's way to goal, Don't think that the goalkeeper would've saved it if it was not for the Liechtenstein-player there..

But at least Portugal won after a goal by Nuo Gomes. I don't think that no one expected that Liechtenstein would've made such a great match in Portugal as in Vaduz (2-2).

bah, we lost vs croatia with 1-0, Mellberg is fucking gay his fucking fault, since when does he play handball in a fotball match, but anyway, I think we will make is as one of the best secondplacers, Island is the last game for us and if we dont loose with 10 goals we'r threw to WC

I saw 2 situations and that one with the handball on the line was too obvious, The other one was as you say it was less obvious..

yeah Im with you fast somewhat, tieing Chile for us was horrible, now we gotta hope Uruguay loses or ties and we HAVE to win, but bah whatever, we coudnt even beat Chile at home...Saw a couple of people all glum and pissed at the restaurant I was at , and I was like we're Colombian, we should be used to this by now ,heh.
anyways
gonna be cool to see some new African teams in the mix next year.
Trinidad still has to play Mexico which should keep hopes high for Guatemala, the games at Trinidad though...
Alot of big teams still left in Europe, some that have my attention... Spain helped their cause and now only gotta play San Marino so thats an auto 3 points, Serbia meanwhile has to play Bosnia and you never know about that.
Romania is pretty much out of it cause I dont see the Czech losing to Finland.
If Switzerland (Ben Swiz Cheese tie!!)dosnt get 1st or 2nd Ill be suprised, should be able to at leat tie Ireland, France is pretty much guarenteed a 1,or 2 spot already.
and of course that awesome do or die game between russian Slovakia

oh and Fuck Ecuador for only tieing Uruguay
