to put this into perspective.
last year, the 36 hour marathon was 75 dollars but drinks were 8 dollars each.
celebration in montreal was up towards 120 dollars a ticket.
peter, this is OPEN BAR. you can't tell me that you won't drink 65 dollars worth of booze.
it's a fair price for a NYE.
At $65, I'll be surprised if there isn't some sort of limit imposed somehow (like it's just beer and bar shots that are free) or something like that.
$65 for NYE + open bar + major DJ is a *phenomenal* bargain in comparison to virtually ANY other party.
Maybe they're just trying to liquidate before new management/direction in the new year? L(

It makes me sad system is closing down. Very sad. I've had many good times at this place, living like 4 blocks away.

well, it looks like i will be staying here for new years now and making it out to this party...plus 270 afterwards. work til 4 on friday and than at 7am monday the 2nd has seriously complicated the original montreal party plans! 
although....how can i be bummed out about having to stay here and listening to 7 hours of howells and than c&c.....
and there's my rant. slingshot out.
ive canceled all my plans, im gonna rent a room in toronto and i'll ht this party.
i wanna be the last person to walk out of system.

Howells it is and then off to 270 Spadina for some dark Iberican sound....
The only thing I'm worried about is the crowd and vibe. I hope open bar doesn't turn this into a massive drunk-fest (lol, yea i know...keep dreamin)

someone on another board said they called system and asked about the open bar thingy and they were informed that it is not an open bar, that the all inclusive meant party hat, champagne, and food in the morning only...can anyone, who actually know's for sure, either confirm or deny this?

well if it isn't an open bar they should stop advertising "all inclusive" as it's incredibly misleading. and the price is going even higher than $65 shortly, i guessing $75-80
if it isn't an open bar what a shame to have a bar go out like this, gouging their loyal patrons on the final night
