I'm sorry

I forgot Montrealers are the authority on everything.

Have a nice day.

you know as little about our scene as people here know about yours.

How many electronic music bookings happen at Station C?

Listen, I dont want to argue! this thread was never about whose scene is better - they are different. I was only pointing out the misinterpretations that some people have about the toronto scene based solely on their experiences at guvernment.

all of them are electronic bookings, but you don't hear of them because they're mainly experimental artsy fartsy stuff (i.e. not djing)...

"even sexually assaulted at aria "

What happened?

Posted by Marcus007 on Oct-19-2005 21:09:

Skipper, I get how you're tired of people talking shit about Toronto. I respect that you apologized for jumping on Kendo... honestly, no sarcasm.

Montreal has EDM.
Toronto has EDM.

Montreal has good bookings.
Toronto has good bookings.

The only difference I see between both cities is the "vibe." I'll admit I've never partied in Toronto, but from everything I hear from TOTA's who come up to party in Montreal, we definitely have a better vibe. Now this doesn't mean we're better than you, it simply means our vibe is better.

Compare objectively guys, not SUBJECTIVELY...

I will PM you, not something I want to post on the board.

Posted by Kendo on Oct-19-2005 21:14:

Some of my female friends have been harassed at all three clubs, Aria, Circus and Stereo... albeit I find Aria and Circus by far the worst because they have a Hip Hop Room.

Posted by ninjahola on Oct-19-2005 21:22:

There are always "handy" fuckheads out there..at every bar/club...its disgraceful

Posted by Marcus007 on Oct-19-2005 21:23:

wow everything you are saying is really weak...keep in mind 99% of all of us have partied in both cities...

Posted by all-nite-freak on Oct-19-2005 22:01:

keep in mind the guy who posted that is from Toronto.

I wouldn't want to bring anybody back to reality but, for anybody, living in any city, a club represents a chance to score. It is obvious that girls will get hit on. More than that, when it comes to an afterhours where, let's not hide our head and say otherwise, most people are on drugs, more people will have lower inhibition and lower judgment. It only means that there will always be dumbasses that will try to "moless" girls in clubs.

haven't read through the whole thread but i just have to say (and i'll gladly repeat it over and over) we are f*cking spoiled in toronto. so many genres showcased on any given weekend plus a vibrant underground and after-hours scene.

spoiled i tell you!! (now we just have to extend our liqour laws and voila!)

Posted by Zinger on Oct-19-2005 22:37:

Who cares? we should just be happy that we have 2 cities in Canada whose edm scenes are thriving. Can't we just all get along??

and besides, montreal>toronto any day.
i joke. i joke

habs>leafs (fact)

mtl girls>t.o girls (this is yet another fact)
