Sarcasm is not only the lowest form of wit. It deserves more merit than that. It's very much subjective, as in, alot of un-comical people use it in such a bland and unoriginal way that it depreciates in comical value. If it's used well by a person who understands when it's funny and when it's just lame, it can be very funny. It can itself be witty in its own nature when used correctly.
