Wim is doing alot more productions and also has a better turnout than most producers here. He has well over 80+ tracks completed and mastered.

From a technical (producer) stand-point his productions are always both very high quality and never lacking in substance and layers. Beautiful and full usuage of the spectrum with custom programmed synth patches to create lush and intresting productions.

Wim also has seperate project aliases with different styles associated, some of his productions are as good (if not better) than most of the tracks in the current top10 on audiojelly and alike.

His productions contain a great degree of tension and buildup, something very much lacking in todays trance scene...

I am sure Jon and Wim will agree with me on this one - but i think the melodys could be getting alot more intresting very soon

wim, u know what u want and its awesome u really stick to your own style. � agree about the melody stuff but i know you can also make those extreme kick ass melodies like a world of ice, the way home, everywhere, between us and see the light (why the hell that tune isnt released, it rox).

Mayb we should collab sometime on a kick ass melody and then both make our own mix of it

Listening to the tune right now and I must say I really like it. My fave part is right at 8:30 when its nice and aggressive. I also like the secondary pluck melody as well. The main melody sounds pretty damn good to me too. I've got plenty or your tracks and I think this one is one of my favorites, the more I listen to it the more I like it. I think I'm gonna have a go at remixing it with the included midi files.

i really like the acid. but as others have said it lacks originality as every trance track does these days. Production is standard icone stuff, pretty good. the melodies are standard too, nothing special, but they create the right feeling.

overall its a good track, with a nice drive and feeling. a club tune for sure.

ps. ppl stfu about ferry he was far better & original than any of those "vst trancers" that keep releasing shit from their asses these days. luckily icone isnt an ass. hes tracks are standard but have abit of originality. if he wants to make another trance track thats his buisness.

Some folks are saying its generic but i like this kind of trance,its no nonsense stuff.

WOW! I think this is amazing again! Beautiful melody as always by Wim! This should be the follow up to "Astra" cause it's in almost the same style.
I didn't read all your reviews on this track, so i don't know what you think about it. But one personal tipp on you, Wim.
Don't understand me wrong, guys! I realy love all Icone productions and Wim is a greeeeat guy, which always helps you if you have a question. But i think it's time that you should try to use some other sounds in your tracks. You now learned what was to learn as a producer. You can do everything what you want, build perfect tunes and in this style you reached everything what was to reached. It can't be more better. You made now more then 100 tracks in that unique style and i think it's time for a refresh. Maybe you should try to make some more harder productions (harder beat, stronger synthies), or i don't know what (but definitely trance!). And once again, don't understand me wrong. This is not a critic on your
productions, cause they are all awesome! You have realy great melodies in your head, so you should try to use them in some different style for a refresh.
