that sums all the everything that has occured throughout the weekend... ive heard it from several different angles... adn seen pictures...
and to scott... fuckin kick ass man... it kills me that i couldnt be there for you and im sorry but you know, kinda busy...
hopefully this will happen again in the near future and many more tiems to come that i will have the opportunity to be there to cheer you on... and +1 for all the troopers who came out to make it big fiesta, my FLTA bretherin and my adoptive AtlTA crew....

well fuckin a that was a reedonkulous weekend in zee atl...so much shit to talk abotu but most has already been covered...fucking scott ripped it apart b4 GnD, set was crazy, and yes scott i did take a sicck vid of u ending with aftermath and then GnD comign up there with all of us going crazy i remeber saying to kel this was going to be a dope vid of ur ending....GnD ripped it too but unlike the GnD haters i thought they were dope and i have been listening to then since they first came on to the scene in 02 and im not about to start hating on them cause they have always been cool to me...but anyway it was awesoem to hang out and the whole weekend was great...i got home at 4:20 am this morning after 10 hours in a car jees it suked and i didnt wake up for work till like 1 today but fuck it was worht it
everybody there was great scott ripping the club, freaking thom coming from across the pond,siiick, and i thought i came far...it was also cool to meet all of the peeps there i hadnt b4 and of course all of the atler's that i have partied with it was great to see u all again...we will have to make it up there again soon but i am definitely taking a few more days next time 2 days was not enough...what a crazy weekend for sure i cant wait to partay again!!!!!!

So it has dawned on me that I have not written a review of the weekend yet! Call it old age, Call it the big three day hang over, call it what you want, I just have not had the motivation to sit down a write a proper review of the evening. So without further adieu, The moment you all have been waiting for, MY REVIEW:
So the weekend started out on Friday with a call from Cynthia, "Come out it is 1:00pm and all of us just woke up!" So I finished work and RAN as fast as I could to go meet the new arrivals. Kelly, Rzo, and Phil, Ya'll rock! Not like I had any doubt that ya'll would, It was just a highlight of the weekend to meet ya'll. So my, "I can just stay for a bit because my parents are in town!" Turned in to... "The wanker is coming?!? Fuck my parents!!" Tom, You Wanker. I am so glad that I got to see you again. Your epic journey to get here just to party for a few days will go down in the books as the ultimate dedication! I am just sorry that I had to leave early on Friday so I did not get to see most of the mayhem go down.
Saturday morning I get the response from my parents of, "You look like death just warmed over!" Little did they know what I would look like at 8:00am Sunday morning! After almost killing myself on the way back from Tennessee, I show up to the club. Scott, the first thing that hits my senses is the sound that you were laying down. Sick from the moment that I got there till the second that we cheered you off the stage. If you do not feel like that you belong up there, then you need your head examined. Awesome set! I know you are hard on yourself but look at it this way, It was a much better set then I heard PVD lay down the last time he was in town!!!
So G&D takes the stage, Having to follow up and opener like Scott. They had a lot to live up to! I am as big of a fan as Kelly, Rzo and Trey. I do not care what anyone says, G&D will never disappoint in my eyes. I am upset that they did not play Alive but other then that their set was simi-mint. No it was not as good as I heard them play last time they were here. Yes they were better then going over to Compound. Yes, they made Bobby sick in the bathroom! But seeing everyone together in one spot after Scott's set could not have been ruined even by DJ Icey! So G&D punked out on the after party. I think Dresden found another chicka to screw and was "going back to the hotel to regroup..." and thus did not want to come. I tried my best to stay after and get him there but, alas, I was not willing to sacrifice my asshole to satisfy his need to screw something that night.
The after party was crazy from what I remember of it. Yes the place is sketch on the surface but nothing but love has ever been given to us there. I had a sober moment with little Greg as we carried the fallen soldier off the battle field. I am glad that you are alright! The rest of the night is kind of a blur from then on. I just remember telling any random person that had anything that lit up, "Dance for me bitch!" I finally got home at 1:30pm to see the parents and yes I looked like I had died and came back as a zombie!
Thanks to all that made this night so epic!
First and foremost the out of towners:
Tom, Genny, Peach, Kelly, Rzo, and Phil. Ya'll rock!! I am so glad that we got to party proper style.
Bobby and Jordan: Ya'll are always my favorite people. I am glad that we got Jordan off the books and out in proper fashion. Now get back to the books and study!
Greg and Cynthia: I love ya'll. Thanks for hosting everyone this weekend.
Little Bobby, Jack, and Kimmie: We do not get to spend enough time together, that has to change! But it was good to see ya'll again.
Greg and Cici: I am glad that I could be the responsible sober one and lend a helping hand. I am always there for you both! It was great getting to spend more time with you.
To the boys: I am sorry that the night was not up to par for you guys. We will make up for it in the near future.
Trey: You are a G&D whore just like me. I loved seeing you again and getting the chance to party in proper fashion again.
Last but not least, Scott: Thanks you so much sir. I can not tell you how much getting to see you spin mean to most of us. I want to sign up for the Groupyee fan club and see more Cor-Ray-Yee night from you. We are all so proud of you and glad that we could have a proper party for your big day man!

awesome awesome awesome weekend.... we've been needing to party it up proper for a while and everything turned out perfectly. I was SOOOO glad to see my FLTA buddies again.... its been too long. and THOMAS!!! i dont believe you were leaving for the airport when i was trying to talk you into coming.... cheeky (hehhe) Sorry to everyone about being paranoid about the old lady upstairs(mostly on friday), but it seems having everyone over on friday and saturday went over just fine... do you guys have any idea how many beers we went through?? something like 120 and a heinekin mini keg... fromwhat i can determine from the boxes on the floor that leo is playing in, not to mention all the liquor... we were f'ing CHAMPS! karaoke was the SHIT even though my camera broke (hehhehee buttercup)
saturday i was a little rough around the edges after listening to the laughing hyenas in my living room all morning despite a wicked hangover... thank god for earplugs i got a nice rest after i was able to drag myself out of bed to find them. SCOTT you are the shit... i am so proud!!!! I was ao amazed at the fact that the whole stage was full of our friends coming out to support you, it was great to be able to walk from one end to the other and be able to say a few words to everyone. and watching strangers getting pumped listening to scott was really exciting too. G&D were pretty good although i wasnt super into them, i had fun. Thanks to evan for being my buddy... how many times did we run onto and off of the patio (hehhe) i really liked the way the patio was set up even though i wish it had been a little less heated. After greg's wild ride... we made it to the afterparty (sorry to everyone who was following us! we had no idea) although this place seemed SUPER sketch, i settled in after a while and ended up having a really good time. I ended up super chatty and talked to a lot of people i either didnt know or didnt know very well. bobby and kimmy... it was super getting to know you guys better, i hope to be seeing more of you guys in the future, and bobby where is the pic of me with the silly sunglasses?!?! peach!! my dancing partner!! woot woot. we left after the sun came up (always a good sign) and had a nice fireside hangout with rzo and kelly until it was finally time for bed!
once again lemme say.... WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!! thank you to everyone for making it so special...

Great set by Scott, I love hearing shit that I've never heard before AND that is also quality stuff. Gabriel & Dresden as always impressed me, and I heard some new tracks that night despite me being an avid G&D follower (not too many recent livesets are out it seems). JFOS - Do what you want over Arcadia was the track of the night for me. Do what you want was a favorite vocal track from last year of mine that I felt was extremely underappreciated, and it's nice to see G&D breathing some life back into it with their usual magical touch. My only complaint was that there were too many vocal acapellas/tracks played and I'd really like to hear more original non-vocal tracks (or even remixes) from G&D. I think that they're still on top of their game for producing, but hopefully they will begin to unveil some badass new tracks in the near future that are either non-vocal or non-acapella (I think treasure is just ok).
Oh yea, I was also up front/on stage the whole time, but I didn't really bother talking to the obvious looking TAs (except for one of you that I met at previous shows, but I don't remember your TA name) cuz I was tired as hell from my drive, and for whatever reason in my mind it would have been awkward walking up to people and going "ARE YOU A TA!?!?!"
haha.. omg.. thats me in the video.. glowsticking at the vault.. LOL.. I was goofing around so much.. and someone stole my sticks so I had to borrow someone elses.. hmm I dind't notice anyone recording though;;
