Big deal if u have won the world championship 3 times, its mickey mouse - we wud destroy Sao Paolo if the game was held in Europe, if u are the best team ur continent has 2 offer then the standard must b terrible, watch sum European Champions League games then u will se real quality football.

too bad it was played on neutral ground, they might as well use the argument that if the game was held in South America they would've won more than 3

i think this balanced success between european and south american teams in these cups is easily explained by 2 things:
- they take the cups more seriously than we do (unfortunately, every clubs goal should be being world champions, how come Liverpool and Man Utd in 2000 considered giving up from playing the cup!)
- we under-rate them a lot - the best south american players may all move to Europe, but when they play as a team on their own style they are stronger than what we might think

that being said, i still haven't seen the whole game even if it's still sitting on my hard drive to watch - you guys were probably unlucky

When Man U took part in 2000, they gave all the kids a game and didnt even make the semi-final

We played a full-strength team in both games and gave everything, but didn't win. Most neutrals I've spoken to about it say we were the better side, but what will be remembered is that Sau Paulo won, and credit to them for it

You arent the best team in europe, you hadn't the best team against milan and even won the final on league
