i'm noticing that most ppl are comparing this to ISOS 1-3...

i think it's the expectation, and the surprises ppl get that's ruining it for them....

what would everyone's opinions be, if they didn't know what it was they were listening to... they were just handed a CD of an illegal copy of ISOS4, without any writing on it to say what it was?

i think a lot more ppl would like it then.

slightly true.

but the fact is that if you have already established what the overall feel should be for a series of albums, one can only expect for it to continue. i mean, imagine if one of the Magik Albums had been WAY off from the previous ones. of course you would be disappointed; simply because you are expecting something to be just as good.

oh c'mon...

don't u think that the ppl who are most likely to buy this album, and give it a shot, are the same sort of ppl who like ISOS 1-3????

HMmmm???

u don't think that anyone who didn't like ISOS 1-3, but may like the the style of this album, is less likely to give it a shot to listen to it?

u don't think that the above 2 points have a big bearing on how much they enjoy this?

The 2CD thing pissed me off about ISOS 4, it was like a completely different formula and it ruined the series. As they say, "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" and the ISOS series was far from broken up until #4.

Regardless, there are still plenty of good tracks on ISOS 4, I just don't like the order and it doesn't feel like an ISOS disc.

I'd also agree with the above poster that ISOS 3 was the best album. It was a bit of a G&D fest which I really wouldn't normally like, but to be fair it really does create an incredibly accurate musical representation of summer and sunrise and all that shite.
