About the formatting:
I can program a php page as an addon to wiki that will add only formated text.

any Events sub category?
(and could someone check the tracklists ^_^)

EDIT> an events subcat would help so i dont have to type out the location of an event or the date, and extra info could be given
Could we make an events category?

EDIT2> is there a format? right now im just doing (for sensation05 tracklists)

@

(Yves Deruyter @ sensation black 2005)

EDIT3> this thread needs sticky
and, what to do about genres?
sub-genres of trance count as seperate categories?

EDIT4> is this ok? http://www.tracklists.org/index.php...tion_Black_2005

I presume an event category will only include big festival type events? if thats so they aren't that many to require to be broken down to smaller categories. For example for Sensation there will be a Sensation article in category Events which will contain the years and each year White/Black sub pages.

Regarding genre's - its the artists that get categorised in genre's and the more specific we become on the genre the more difficult it will be to categorise an artist since they dont usually conform to a subgenre sometimes not even to a single genre.

It's not that easy if you don't know the wiki code.
I just have to know what code adds/edits data.

Done.
someone should start adding in the other events >_>

EDIT> Link to Years and Events needs to be down the side of the page. Link to events needs to be on homepage

EDIT2> is there a format for the tracklists page itself?
some of the pages have "back to.." links and some dont

for the time being I manually go through the dead end pages and add those links. I am not sure if somekind of "template" pages are supported.

Posted by Nsonic on Dec-20-2005 17:03:

you could post a suggested template on the homepage
including what to do, in radio sets, when theres a guest set
or live performances in a live set

(speaking of live sets, some people have just been putting "live sets" as a sub cat within an artist. needs to be 's live sets)

im using the general format of

[tracklist] (tracks indented one space)

Back to [artist]

EDIT> So did someone say about linking samples to IDs?
How bout making a page that displays all the IDs?
