We don't need Giovanni, we have... uhm... Beto...?

OK, seriously, one win out of the last 4 games... we're dead meat.

Chelsea FC v FC Barcelona
Barcelona gets revenge after last year's defeat with a single goal in extra-time after two surprisingly boring 0-0s

Real Madrid CF v Arsenal FC
As much as I like Arsenal and hate Real, i don't believe it'll be this year they'll do something in the Champions League. Real still has a lot of individual ability

Werder Bremen v Juventus
I also like Bremen and dislike Juve, but the italians are playing at a magnificent level

FC Bayern M?nchen v AC Milan
Very hard to predict this game.. Bayern is clearly in better form this moment, but Milan in the Champions League is always a strong contender, they always go far in the competition

PSV Eindhoven v Olympique Lyonnais
Despite in the last year PSV having won this game, I don't have big doubts about who is the best team. Another revenge.

AFC Ajax v FC Internazionale Milano
Ajax are very, very far from what they've used to be. Inter to win this easily.

SL Benfica v Liverpool FC
Benfica suprises again, knocking out the title holders and confirming the recent tendency of the english getting sistematically beaten by the portuguese. This before Benfica is totally crushed in the quarters by whoever-team-is-drawn-against-them, in a round similar to Vigo a couple years ago [Benfica lost to Celta 7-0 in UEFA Cup].

Rangers FC v Villarreal CF
Villarreal sweats a lot to win even playing against an awful team, reaching the quarter finals with no glory.

I take back my comment on Benfica, Koeman's winter signings backfired, the team seems to have lost its balance. The rest of the predictions still stand.

FC Chelsea [ENG] - FC Barcelona [ESP]
-We all know how good both teams are and what keyplyaers they've got. If they would play eachother right now, I would think that Barcelona is stronger and got their players in great shape. We'll see if Chelsea can play as good as they did last year, both in the defence in Spain and ofcourse at home where they scored 3 goals in like 19 minutes or something. The that will go through is the one that's got more passion and desire too go through.

Real Madrid CF [ESP] - FC Arsenal [ENG]
-Considering too the major changes in Real Madrid I would like too hold Arsenal as favourites in this one. It's still too early too judge both teams when they're not doing any good in the league. Why I'm currently holding Arsenal as favourites is that they've played terrifick in the Champions League (Yes, they had a easy group), Arsenal's also got the last match at home, which is very important.

Werder Bremen [GER] - FC Juventus [ITA]
-Werder Bremen has got one of the best strikers in Europe right now in Miroslav Klose. He's scored 16 goals in Bundesliga and is a very important player for Werder together with Ivan Klasnic, Johan Micoud and that guy from Southamerica, I always manage too forget his name. Anyways, Juventus has only lost too Bayern Mnchen and AC Milan so far this season, they've showed up some really great play lately and Trezeguet, Mutu, and Nedved has been amazing last couple of matches. Even Del Piero scores when he gets the chance, plays rarely though. Werder has too win over Juve at home to have a chance in Torino and that's a fact, for sure.

FC Bayern Mnchen [GER] - AC Milan [ITA]
-This is the most interesting match together with Chelsea's against Barcelona. I've seen both teams pretty much this season, especially Bayern. Milan is playing bad at the moment and hasn't really showed anything else than they doesn't deserve too be in the top of the Italian Serie A. I don't now if they're going for the Champions League again, but if they are, I think they're forced too win over Bayern and at least reach a semifinal or something. Ancelotti isn't having his nicest time at the club and both Maldini and Nesta is injured at the moment. Bayern's got Roque Santa Cruz on their injurylist, but they've got everything from Guerrero too Pizarro and Makaay. It'll be a very interesting match and I'm really looking forward too it. Bayern is mine favourites atm even though I know of what Milan can do.

PSV Eindhoven [NED] - Olimpique Lyon [FRA]
-Another repeat of last years Champions League meetings. Lyon is looking awfully strong and PSV has even though they've lost alot of important players got through too this round. I'll hold Lyon as favourites because they're really strong at the moment.

AFC Ajax [NED] - Inter Milan [ITA]
-I can't really see Ajax going through here, Inter has maybe got the easiest team too play against. But I'm still warning for Ajax because they're not playing very well in the league and I have a feeling that they still can go through here. Inter is a stronger team overall and has got Adriano that always seems too score important goals, that's why I will hold them as favourites.

FC Benfica [POR] - Liverpool FC [ENG]
-If Benfica can win at home without Liverpool scores in Portugal, then I think that they've got a great oppurtunity too go through. Liverpool is very strong at home and if they get a draw with they're boring play away, then it's going to be very hard for the portuguese too knock them out. Benfica has already knocked out Manchester United, and hopefully they'll knock out Liverpool too. Both teams favourites at home, this one may go too away goals and that kind of shit..

Glasgow Rangers [SCO] - Villareal CF [ESP]
-Finally a scottish team going through too the playoffs in the Champions League. They've already knocked out Porto who wasn't strong enough too go through. I know this one is very much up too Villareal, If Villareal starts too play sloppy, they will lose, otherwise they will go through and they're the better team on the paper. But we've all seen the British teams fight until the last second of the match. Everyone will probably hold Villareal as favourites, and they are, I still hope that Glasgow Ranges can make it through, just because they're underdogs in this match.

I'm not changing anything either, and I'm not going to be reasonable either. I want Liverpool & Real Madrid out of the Champions League. So, Please do your work Arsenal and Benfica.

Just kidding. It'll be pretty hard for Benfica, although I still think they can make it. I hope so anyways..
