Hi All,
Im going to Crasher @ the NEC...its my first major dance event...i have only ever been to Slinky @ the Opera House. So im really looking forward to NEC. Im only 17, but 6foot 2", what they like on ID? I got Fake shit if i need it.
Also, what should i wear, i heard they are strict on dress code. Please someone advise, or all of you.

Is it gonna be an experience of my lifetime? Hopefully in a few years i can experience from the other side of the turntables...i wish!!

Regards all.

Josh.

Aite mate. Good to hear you enjoyed yourself at Slinky. The Opera House is an awesome venue init You know they used to hang people in there? The gargoyles on the roof of the shop opposite the club were put there to ward off all the bad karma coming from the Opera House.

Anyway moving on to NEC, as far as recommendations go I can say I had the best clubbing nighter ever at Octobers bash. The crowd were great as was the lineup. But this DJ kept coming and bugging us...Maruo something. So we let him dance with us a bit. Dress code wise they're not too strict, normal clubbing wear is fine (no stricter than Slinky anyway).

Hope too see you there mate. BTW tickets are already on sale, they'll probably sell out early. No rush yet, but get one as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.

I think it's fairly safe to say there'll be a TA gathering of some sort

Bournemouth Bus Station, National Express Stand TBA 25.00 All prices include luxury return coach travel (Toilets / clubber friendly couriers/top tunes/smoking and drinking is allowed).

Well that's my outward-bound ticket sorted

Posted by Ste on Jan-21-2002 22:44:

so the complete opposite of a national express coach, apart from the toilet bit of course

right ive just had a thought...

if it only cost jeff fray and anita a tenner on the train it wud be best for me and gibbo to get to chesterfield station and go from there, coz thats like 15 bus tho sheff, then train to chesterfield. easy peasy

so that wud only cost us what 30 max in total?

arg.. tenner?? as if.. maximum cost is 2.30 each way.. sometimes u dont get checked and it dont cost a thing.. chesterfield is south of sheffield so from 'boro it would be cheaper just to get to sheffield..

Smiley DJ

Yo people,

I definately think, whatever the cost, you should all go. Give me a shout when ya going too, i'll drive down (cos i only live 45mins drive away from it) and i'd love to meet up with y all and have a mad one down there. Its a fantastic club, the lights were the most spectacular thing...

Garry White dropped in Reeloop - Fucking Society and the place lit up like the twin towers.

Well worth every penny. But i spect i will say that bout Crasher soon...tickets are on their way to me now for NEC

Josh.

*laughs like an insane madman* i jsut found a coach trip to the NEC return, doorstep delivery for the measely price of 13.50 *more insane laughing*

n i meant liek last time u lot went to brum for a tenner. but it divvent matter now

Posted by Dj O'Callaghan on Jan-23-2002 22:44:

Volksjoolz. Afterparty I dunno if you got enough people a couple of generators some car batteries to run them off and some bits and pieces we could try an afterparty in some forest but I can imagine some old people walking their dogs, seeing a load of people gurning and stomping in forest wouldn't go down to well.

'We didn't do that in Our day Harold!'

'Ere have one of these minuture white Worthers orginals you old buggers'

Nah a villagehall would be a better place warmer too.

I've got a mate at Uni in Birmingham and she probably lives with a big group of girls, but if they like Trance and if their gorgeous is another question lol cos I dunno what they look like.

i seem to have gained a reputation on these boards.. *sigh*

aye.. if we're in luck.. (theres a 50/50 chance) my parents might have fucked off for the weekend as they often do. sooooo.. if that is the case u lot can come here... but if that isnt the case, it looks like its the carpark again

Cool

Hi everyone.

Been lurking here for a while after i was recommended to this board from a friend and current member. I am going to this event, as i went last April and had a wicked time. I usually prefer doing bigger events, having done Slinky at the Bournmouth B.I.C end of last year, and various festivals etc, and am doing the Godskitchen vs. Sundisential at the beginning of March (only going for the Godskitchen side..).

Anyway, i'd be well up for meeting up. I have not yet trawled this thread to see if there is a specific place for it, so can someone just give me a quick answer?

Also, i'm gonna hopefully be in Slinky on the 8th for Jules and John Kelly, Peach on the 15th for Ferry Corsten and Slinky again on the 22nd for Armin and Tall Paul. Anyone going to any of them? Cheers.
