you're kidding right?

ipods have lost every fucking test i've ever seen on sound quality. and these tests are done by professionals with professional equipment to measure things (tests done by finnish INDEPENDENT magazines). the frequency graphs (of wtf they're called in english) for ipods have always looked worse than those of the competitors and the guys from the magazines have commented that ipods don't really sound that good.
seriously what is the ipod better in than "other players" besides looks? i can't think of anything TBH.
i'm against ipods because they're not good, not because they're popular, period.

Good thing you pointed it out for everyone.

On Ipod:

When I am buying a mp3 player I look for space which is a must as I have shitload GBs of seulment trance, and I do listen to all of them and not just few favorites. So 60 GB + looks + normal 'but not a superman' battery life = buy for me.

Also Ipod is so popular that you do get a lot of additional accessories options which is not their in case of other mp3 players. Eg: I can connect my ipod to my car stereo and play it, my car stereo plays mp3 directly from my ipod, no need of any CDs.

On Tiesto:

I dont hate him, I just dont like his music anymore, let me tell you I was a die hard fan of tiesto and did created 'Tiesto is God' thread when I was a n00b, believe me.

Tiesto brought me to the trance world, I started to like trance when i first listened to his tracks and I thank him for that.

Yes, I did. Thanks for letting me know, I don't know what I'm doing myself.

tiesto = pvd = armin = sellout
Gosh fucking dammit they don't produce TRANCE anymore.
Almost no one does in this days.

Omer.

dj bashing is so stupid, especially when it comes to them making money.

Posted by sshyperion on Jan-09-2006 23:29:

some people raise a good point though that this can be considered an attempt to elevate even more the status of the person. that being said, they run the risk of having their music suffer as their fandom increases and mainstream presence. this goes for every artist in any genre, not just tiesto, although in this case we're focussing on tiesto.

Exactly!!!
I don't think anyone who we see constantly bitching about this sort of thing would pass up the offer if it came their way.
"excuse me, but can we put your name on our product, we'll give you a million dollars".... ah, YEAH!!!!
It is so like people in OZ - just bag the people at the top... it's called tall poppy syndrome!
I once heard an interview with Run DMC, and they were asked if they were a sell out and their response...
"Yeah man, we're a sell out for sure. We sell out our concerts, we sell out our albums...haha"
Where is the problem?

As for the mp3 player, I just want the box!

I was just kiddin'

He's alright. I mean, I want to hear them branch out of the buzzing synth more than nobody's business and produce like they did back a while ago (much the case on TA as seen with most of the more popular people). But I still like them.

Buy Now - For Sale was good, it just doesn't need redone 654981687 times.

Posted by Spin Laden on Jan-12-2006 23:15:

Too weird - I was listening to In Search of Sunrise 4 on my Creative (256)on my way home from work today, then I saw this.

I've had problems with my Creative MP3 so Tiesto may wanna think twice for several reasons.. nah, just take the money and run, dude!!!!

Sorry, but you're not very good at sarcasm.

Your sarcasm would have probably been hilariously dry if you'd actually read my post properly.

Trust me, I did. Or perhaps there's some clever subtlety I've missed.

...

No, there isn't...

Clearly there is:

"Good thing you pointed it out for everyone."

Your reply would be semantically coherent if I had said "You pointed it out for everyone", which would be alerting you to something you presumably weren't aware of. However, what I posted was an expression of gratitude, basically "Thank you." So either you misread my post, or you're an idiot. Which is it to be?

I realy dont want to get in between you two, but I think he will choose the 'misread post' option out of give two options.

Ahh, but you see, I took it as sarcasm as it clearly was way too obvious in the first place.

Yeah, it was sarcasm. However, I wasn't following on your post. I was being sarcastic about the real meaning of your post- which was "That was a shit joke."
