I will not and cannot speak for the club mgmt/promoter etc etc NOW (present) but from past experiences at TIL just like some other clubs in T.O even in MTL, if u don't look good e.g from HEAD TO TOE! decked out, don't know the bouncer, or have a VIP booth blah blah ur ass ain't gettin IN...simple!! and this really happened! don't even try to start an argument with me on this! I have witnessed it with my own eyes on too many occasions at TIL!

Thank you allym for the info!! I like TIL and will most definitely check it out for Deep Dish/Dimitri

Cevin Fisher and Scumfrog the week after DD is much more appealing to me......we'll be there for sure!

Of course no one including myself is going to take too kindly to showing up to support a great DJ night only to get refused entry for the colour of their laces or the thread count of their Calvin's. That kind of Club behavior may entice the shallow VIP Top 40 crowd who gathered their Prada bags from Shmooze and want to be seen in all their highly purchased beauty, but it has never, and will never fly with our lot...thank God for that.

However, we must be reminded, it seems, that this new night is not being run by the staff or management of TIL of the past. In fact, as some already know, it is under completely new ownership (the same that runs and books the city's largest club if you need specifics). Thus a new mindset is almost garunteed to be in place. So it seems only fair to throw out the old experiences of a club that is now under the control and management of arguably one of the most experienced EDM promotion groups in the city.

Do you honestly think, in all their experience, that they are going to promote an elitist attitude that will doubtlessly kill this new venture? I don't; as they would have to know we would pull the plug on the place faster than the Guv lover can say Flight 643.

Yup - all further dress code inquiries should be directed to the event thread.

Closed.
