I can't believe the guy who said you can only really judge a track by the original mix, that just does not hold water, one famous exampleis Blockster - 'Grooveline' - rubbish

that was me, and yes u just added an agreement to my post, 'Grooveline'(Matt Darey Remix) credit goes to matt darey for making the song good, therefore meaning blockbusters sucks, since of original mix sucked, then the track is crap, however in this case matt darey gave it life, so its only good because of him.

hmmm... we both don't like pvd, maybe it's a U.S. thing??

also, i don't see why people like Airscape remixes!!! Never liked an Airscape mix, they crappafy songs!! Take Sylver - Turn the Tide for example.... nice vocals, they fuck it up. CJ Stone mix is so much better.

I agree about PVD. I think that sometimes he is "on" and his tracks are great and sometimes he is "off". For An Angel is your average song, but everybody goes crazy of it and claim its the best trance song ever. Now this only makes the track worse in my taste. Tsk tsk tsk.. Now the ones I think are "on" are Another Way and Tell Me Why. Those two are classic. And then there is Vega, Face To Face, and Out There And Back. And of course his latest, Autumn.

Oh and you can add "Paul Van Dyk - Vega (Starecase Remix)" to my list of songs I dislike that are "good".

Perp. Dreamer - Sound Of Goodbye is also heavily overrated, none of the mixes of this tune are very special IMO.

I also happen to love 10 in 01 by Members of Mayday! The hyppest song ever! And PVD's work, remixes, PoD album? I love them all... the more I listen to PoD album, the more it grows on me, and the more I appreciate PVD's mixing skills...

And yes, Souvenir de Shite sux, so does Joyenergizer...

haha...members of mayday better than Souvenir? yeah right! Members of Mayday 01 in 01 sounds like a crappy MP3.com track! Souvenir isn't incredible, but it's quality.

Flesh is a beautiful track that grows on you. I think Flesh, Innocente, and Silence are Tiesto's finest work, and some of the best vocal tracks ever.

PVD is a good DJ, his mixing skills superb, but i can't stand his songs! They just sound so crappy and boring, IMO.

Out of the Blue.....OVERRATED??????? Perhaps the 5AM mix is overrated, (like the original alot better, but 5am still good.) but how can you say the track is overrated? It deserves everything it can get! It has so many layers, and the melody is brilliant.

Hehhee, exactly my point... I've heard both of those songs in a club, and 10 in 01 just sounds million times better... and Souvenir de Chine does sound a lot like older trance...

@ Snooper, The tunes without smileys next to Racoons tunes aren't the best of tunes! But the ones with , I can't beleive he did that!

And Out of the Blue snould be on everyones favourite's lists, cos that was one of the first tunes to break into the mainstream, that was good.
