I really enjoyed the first hour of Holden's first set and the trancier sections of Pappa's set. He's definitely a star, working the crowd rather nicely.

I met Holden in transit to his second set and he was totally cool. I asked him how long he'd be in Sydney and he said he was flying out to Melb at 7am after his set for a mate's wedding! Hardc0re.

Didn't catch much of Paolo's set though I did walk in when he was laying down the funky remix of Justin Timberlake's "Rock Your Body" (i prefer Sander's mix but this one was pretty rockin' too).

Dave Seaman is a funny bloke. First he asked me where the toilet was, and then later on he runs back and forth behind the stage as he grabs a bucket full of liquor and four glasses for his mates.

I left about 10 mins into Seaman's set. Not because it was bad, just needed to get home and rest.

As always, it was a blast catching the TA's (or should we be known as prog addicts now?) and tribers out and about in force.

I think that's Holden's girlfriend?

Definitely a fun night. The new setup on the main floor was a bit weird but it wasn't overly packed for once (good going Home!) so it worked out well.

Whoever designed those mirrored walls in the men's needs to get shot.

Anyways, my pics here. Sucked that blardy home security got all ghey on me and booted me out of the press area even though I was there to take pics for ITM Fortunately it was towards the middle half of Pappa's set and I'd already managed to get pics of the headliners

James Holden was helarious
my friend was talking to him with a cigarette in his hands in the icon room(before he was about to play his second set) and James thought he was smoking weed, asked my mate if he had weed and to go for a session after his set , then on his set he scored some weed off someone and went nuts on the decks.

what an amazing weekend

Funktrusts 5th birthday on thursday was the best wya tot start off the weekend; memorable moments: taking pictures of the Westpac Security Guard curled up in the foetal position at 5am on friday morning right after seeinga bum squat down in the middle of the road to take a shit

LIvewire was one of the best events i've been to, IMO it was better than Summer Ball, great to see the entire TA crew there! Holden, Pappa, and Seaman were brilliant!

good to meet you Al_Mac and lister

Awesome afterparty at grunts house, good to see the the crew there, Nath thanks for the 5 hour set!

yeah livewire was def better than summer ball for me.

Holden started off really well but sorta lost me halfway through

paolo was awesome on the terrace, seamen was awesome, very animated, wanted him to play my track though, but unless u were a 6ft blonde he didnt seem to care much.

that mashup at the end with paolo and pappa was unbelievable, almost wish i hadnt left but home stopped serving drinks and i was still thirsty.

Webmeister has an awesome fkn place shame he was too tired to stay up though, then to Bondi for an hour or so, then to Grunts house who also has a wikked place with heaps of room. Was funny playing, too drunk to care about mixing i just wanted to hear some choons.

left Grunts at about 5:30 so couldnt be assed goin to the garden for just a cpl of hours.

Top night cant wait for paolo on the 28th, and then Habit on the 12th. I need a job, this is getting to be expensive.

Track of the night for me was Paolo's Remix of Aftermath, never heard it before, fkn loved it
